That's a pretty similar cam spec as I'm running (253/267 .665/.665 116+6). But I built my "LS7" to 502ci. That's a lot of cam for 7 liters. When the customer gets annoyed by the giant gap between 4th and 5th because the motor won't cruise under 2K RPM, the close ratio ZR-1 transmission will take care of that. You can get a built 6060 with 3.90 gears for the low low prices of only $16K from RPM transmission. (ask me how I know). Now to to go find the video of how it dyno'd and drove...

What’s the RPM redline on this motor, the new pistons are lighter than stock? But the stock rods weren’t sufficient or needed to be replaced? Love the enclosed dry sump, and what’s the power goal?
@JacobVillemain
@JacobVillemain Жыл бұрын
Engine should easily make 650whp New redline probably 8,200. However the long runner manifold the customer will be running will limit it to 7,400 before running out of air. With a larger plenum/shorter runner manifold the engine could easily turn 8,000 & make big power
