I like your engine, bud. Just a note, the C5R 12* heads won a lot of LeMans races. The LS7 had pressed in rocker shafts that lifted out of the head. Ridiculous for a 7000rpm motor, screw-in studs have always been the go to. Your shaft mounts are the best solution for stability.

LS7 rockers bolt down just like any other LS.

@@dalethomas9307and after market LS7 heads are top notch. Aftermarket heads fix the factory geometry...issues. So the rational behind a small bore head on a large bore engine is weird..not the end of the world but leaving power on the table for sure.

I used a set of heads that where on a L92 and had them cnc ported by reher morrison on a 417 useing the L92 block.i used the johnson lifters also.thing made 705hp @7100 with more fine tuning the combo tuning left.bottom line the 15°head is capable of making close to 800hp if used with more cubes and hydraulic roller

Just a question, with such a awsome build and being that it will be seeing alot of rpm why are you not running atleast 3/8" pushrods?

Piggy back question. Why are you not running ARP head studs?

You didn’t have to put sealant on the middle bolts to keep coolant out? I have one that’s letting coolant by the middle head bolts and I had to take it apart and seal the bolts

Aren't you supposed to put a dye like Prussian Blue on the valve stem, and see with a full rotation, if the roller tip is in the middle of the stem?
