I have a remote job where I work 40 hours per week. I wonder how much I could get done in a situation similar to yours, given that situation.

@@mattstone8878Well, I pretty well work as hard as I can about 5 hours a day on the cabin but only when I have materials. I would guess I've put 40 to 80 hours in if that helps.

I have seen some people run corrugated plastic pipe underground to provide geothermal temperature regulation. It could add cool air in the summer and warmer air in the winter. You would just need a fan to push the air through. Just some food for thought.

Post and beam brackets would look nice on that patio with some structural screws and faux nuts that the screw goes into to make it look like big bolts
