Page 153 BRB: "you cannot have a suit of magical armour and carry a magical shield unless specifically stated in the description of the magic item" Page 154 BRB: Enchanted shield "This can be combined with other magical or mundane armour"

The most balanced edition by far. herohammer toned down, Magic toned down but still good. And fun. There were some problems but nothing like the power creep in 7th Ed or the absolute joke - 8th Ed trash.

@@Lenneth8there’s no new mwg fantasy battle reports? Or is there? I know steve has his channel but yes it’s filmed in a different style. Personally not a fan of that far away style I much prefer to watch the handheld where there’s closer ups of the action.

Another step on the road to “Steve and Luca play Rogue Trader” 😂 Was interesting to see. Perhaps a bit more light on model showcase though? I would think everyone wants a good nostalgic look at em 👍 EDIT - terrible battle cos of game-tested HE army on open field 🤣🤣🤣

I remember playing elves this edition and growing to really hate the magic just because of how harshly it could dominate the game. I remember every other army at my store either had as many wizard levels as possible or a dedicated dispel scroll carrier. If you played 1.5k points at least 200-300 of that was anti-magic.

This is the edition that made me stop playing fantasy. Magic was op and so High Elves ruled the field. Love seeing oldhammer though.

This isn't true. Are you thinking of 7th edition? They're 1 per rare slot in 7th but high elves got 4 rare slots at 2k so works out the same as 6th.
