What a waste of dragons! They should have taken out the Skraven arty and shooters from behind and THEN gone into battle melee...always sad to see how the Empire and Elves lose to a bunch of rats. Still, a great battle to watch!!! Awesome work!

We can technically guess who wins by looking at army compositions..mostly spears and high elf commander was on foot.. and the skaven commander on a big mount .. and my guess was right.. skaven won at the end

Well, also crappy tactic from the Elves. Dragons and cav should have been sent against the skaven distance units, to crush these rattling guns and catapults at the beginning. Elves would probably have won, or lasted far more lol

Why didn't the Elf cavalry flank and deal with those ranged attackers? Then the dragons fly in and just skip right over the rat cannons and guns too? No tactics...

These battles are just cinematic, Skaven will flatten pretty much any race with the minimal imput given

@@jangotherango7250 the Skav could but they are to fractured into many clans fighting each other but if they did unite they would overrun the world. They are like the tyrannids in number as they multiply too quick as you would expect rats too. Also they are heavily industrialized elves don’t stand a chance with swords and shields and slow reproduction as they are almost immortal. Send all the dragons you want but a hail of thousands of rounds of bullets will shred them to pieces lol

Agree with you here, he ignored the rattling guns completely. The scaven side targeted the elves archer line, once the archers were gone it was over. The dragons could have at lease done a breath attack before landing, better yet if they focused on the scaven ranged units.

Nice battle and surprised, been ages since you have shown a "flanking move" on your battles (the last time I saw one was on a orc battle using orc cavalry) but poor dragons, they were just sent to the meatgrinder without hesitation and concern for the rat gatling guns. And those big rats, the ones with the big claws, they sure are tanky.

If the dragons take out the rattling guns and plague catapults instead of ignoring them and allowing them to continue to fire, then the HE likely wins this. Not sure on the decision process there.

Yes I agree, but if this was a reality where one bullet kills one person, those gatling guns would kill a dragon in mere seconds, its like anti air and anti everything in this universe, the Skaven is way to advanced for the other races if you think about it, was hoping for more poison globadiers, but yeah sure in this game id attack the back row, was expecting the Eshin to attack from the back too.@@TrackerRoo

It's as if the commander makes a direct mistake so that the tough opponent loses spectacularly! Will the cavalry stop to fight the infantry instead of pouring out the Skaven artillery? For example, I once asked an uploader who he was with when the human team lost due to incorrect tactical moves. He chose rats...🤕

So I can understand cinematic shots and everything, but come on, the dragons flew right over the Skaven weapons teams and then get focus fired down as soon as they touchdown. Not to mention you gave the skaven the thing thing abominations from the beginning, why not give the elves a fighting chance, or give them the ability to shut down the weapons teams. Just seems too one sided.

The High Elf styles look really amazing in this game. It's all so detailed, so ornate. The buildings, the armors & weapons it's everything you would expect from the High Elves. I wish Elder Scrolls Online's High Elves would look a bit more like this

@@Zen-751 The Aldmeri queen looks like a regular unimportant npc, she doesn't look like the high queen of the mighty and magical High Elves at all, the armor styles of the regular AD soldier npc's in Cyrodiil look more royal. The High Elf buildings are also a big fail it doesn't look superior or magical at all 🙄🤣

Смешно, что драконы кинуты не на машины и пулемёты скавенов. Причём заранее, чтобы защитить своих лучников от расстрела. А в гущу пехотного боя, когда уже ничего нельзя было изменить. Так воевать нельзя. В данной битве скавенам дали незаслуженное преимущество.

Seems to me like the skaven were made to win this. Why not deploy the fire lancers in a flanking position and have the dragons immediately assault their fire line. Elves could have won that easily but you gave them 3 ballista and inferior tactics. Why did the dragons wait til everyone was mostly slaughtered before joining the fray.....

I always see comments about utilizing Total War tactics in these videos and like, has anyone realized how uncinematic and overall boring that is with this style of video? Like seriously go watch total war tournaments and let’s plays, the tactics in those that are the “best” usually either A require a lot of micromanagement which would mean less cinematic viewings and B usually means the battle ends relatively quickly. I dunno maybe it’s just me but I really don’t understand coming to a cinematic video and expecting the best tactics and not just an overall cinematic experience.

But sometimes the cinematic experience is ruined when units are behaving in totally illogical ways though. Not asking for a ton of grand stratagems in these battles, just don't want to see the majestic dragons fly right into the firing lines when they could've targeted the guns first. BTW I still think Gamethumb's videos are AWESOME. There are other channels out there that put in a lot less effort into these videos, I admire GT's productions immensely.
