If anyone's dad wore ties a great way to repurpose and fondly remember them is to sew them together into a tree skirt. My mom did this for me when my dad passed and it helps me to make him a part of every Chrismas! Blessings for a very merry and a holly jolly!!

Amazing gift ideas! This year my husband and I are gifting vouchers for our daughter, son in law, and grandson. We did a family gift, small stocking stuffers, and voucher for one summer camp for my grandson, one voucher for a deep cleaning of the house, and I'm giving my son in law my Kitchenaid mixer because it's gotten too heavy for me.

You must really have some good thrift stores near you because our good will is so overpriced and just a bunch of junk many times that I along with many others have just stopped going and we are a small areas withI think one just opened so three total thrift stores ! Your dad’s and brother’s gifts were inspiring. For the succulent planter, 2 suggestions. Drill a hole in the bottom for drainage. You can use a cork to plug it but succulents like to be watered through and drained. Also, the mister is great for air plants but not for the type of succulents you planted. They don’t like humidity. (Christmas cactus do but they aren’t desert succulents). Again, I really like your video.

So many thoughtful gift ideas, Fia. I would love to receive any one of them. I thought your idea of giving your brother some personal items that belonged to your father was such a thoughtful idea. Sometimes, when a parent dies all the family can't be present to go through their belongings. This gift, in a nice box, will give your brother items to cherish forever. I have in a small cloche, my dad's Navy ring and a pocket watch, that my mother gave him. I am really glad to have something of my dad's that meant a lot to him. Happy Holidays

For the teens and for my aunties, I always get those warm socks,usually a $1 at black Friday, and pair it with self care items and a candle, make a basket with a thrift one, and some cello paper. Everyone loves those socks.

I’m sorry to hear about your father passing. The gift to your brother was right on. Just to have a few things of his dad’s is really nice. When I stuffed my kids stocking when they were younger I always put in a new toothbrush, lip balm, cosmetics or perfume they liked. I’m 70 now and when I was little my stockings always had candy, a large apple, large orange and a pomegranate. We were busy eating the pomegranate while my parents got ready for company. My parents remembered getting nice pieces of fruit was a real treat. After my father passed away when I was younger my sisters and I filled my moms stocking. It was usually from the Dime store but she loved it. Even getting a new spatula! I love stuffing stockings at Christmas!

I love your videos. I have another tip for storing gift bags and wrapping paper. I bought an open garbage bin (the one that's folded and sells in the kitchen area, not the marketplace) for the paper. I hung that on the wall of my basement. At the dump, I found a huge plastic single drawer unit in which I put gift bags and paper plates for parties. That sits on my clothes dryer. I don't have enough closets and I only have a small basement.
