ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS TOO HIGH OR NOT HIGH ENOUGH?! Comment below a few of your Standards & Dealbreakers, I wanna know 😃♥️
@isiwiwo3 жыл бұрын
Has to be a Godly man, have a strong connection and devotion to the Lord first and foremost, respect and get along with my family, be independent, emotionally and finiancially stable (not verbally/physically/emotionally abusive in any capacity). Deal breakers would be: a man who has no standards or deal breakers of his own (it shows he will get with anyone and allow anything - he's not mature) a man-child who can't survive on his own, doesn't defend his wife, infidelity, abuse/violence

I don’t know about y’all, but I feel like it’s easier to find women with emotional intelligence, basic life skills (being neat, cooking), attractive, and a stable job than it is to find men of the same caliber. More often than not, men date up while women date down.
@Eaststoriestv3 жыл бұрын
True that’s because women grow quicker than men. You’ll be surprised to know that majority of men come into their purpose and real wealth in their 40s and beyond,where as women can become self aware at age 20. Unfortunately not every woman understands the point you made above and thinks men are supposed to get it,Just because she gets it.😩

During the time I was growing up, I never thought finding a guy who could meet the bare standards was difficult or unrealistic, because all the grown-up men around me could do that all the time. They can keep integrity and be kind and empathetic most of the time. So I didn't even have the standards for men, because I thought finding a good man was a very natural thing. I went to different societies without the protection of understanding those rules, so I held the best expectations and no standards for others. I have already learned my lessons. But, from another side, that means I never met some creepy guy that would ruin my life and my trust during my childhood and teenage. So I am very lucky, and I am so so so so lucky and grateful that so many female influencers are posting those contents out there to let the young girls learn, which makes me feel the goddess energy is truly protecting us girls all the time. I wish you the best Breeny. Thank you for caring for others, thank you for sending us those marvelous videos, and for your help.

I’m 22 and have always been told my expectations are too high. I’ve also struggled to prioritize my social skills and relationships when I was young due to childhood traumas so I definitely used escapism coping methods of the dream guy with unrealistically high expectations. As I’ve grown older, I’ve been able to realize this and pick out which of these are my true standards for who I want and need in a partner. If the whole point of dating is to eventually find someone who I want to live the rest of my life with, I don’t want to compromise my standards just to fit that societal expectation. I want the person to be everything I need and when people tell me to lower those needs, I can’t fathom how people justify that compromise. These videos help me a lot in my self confidence and morals because I feel like I’m so behind and always wanting to find someone but Im confident in myself and my ability to live a wonderful life without someone who I have to lower myself for. Maybe my views still need some work but I want to figure those out first before I jump into anything.

This is an amazing way to put it! I've been feeling like I can't be with the one yet because I'm just starting grad school, have a 7 year old car, can barely afford anything new lol and struggling this year especially, but this year I've been working on healing and producing fruit of the Spirit...growing with God and becoming a godly woman for my future husband and family. So I don't have all my physical, materialistic shit together, but it's good to hear that's a guy's perspective to worry about 😂😂

Nobody talks about emotional connection.It seems like everyone is looking for someone to make their life easier not more beautiful.If you get a true connection with someone you won't care how much money he makes or if he is successful.

Breeny, I absolutely love your videos, they're so real and genuine. your advice is amazing, not superficial or shallow level tips they're real life things we can actually take on board to help us become better people for ourselves and the people around us 💜

7:24 AMEN BREENY! I LOVE this video! And here is why..... So many of your videos are like mini classes on life. Nuggets of topics to think, ponder and possibly add to our lives. This video is a perfect example of one that many women need to take mental AND actual notes on, and then apply it to their lives. Sans your opinion on most women wanting to be married, I agree with 99.9% of how you think on any given topic. But on this one, we are identical in every way. Especially as we age, the physical and superficial mean very little. When I was in my 20's (because I have a fetish for tall men) I dated almost primarily tall guys. I was *VERY* superficial for myself and any guy I dated. But now.....not at all. Compatibility means more to me than if the guy is tall, handsome, great job and expensive clothes. I think most women come to this realization as they age, but for your younger viewers, why not teach and train your minds to thinks this way now.

Call it whatever you want. The problem is the average woman today has unrealistic expectations, and many will wind up single for a long time.

Same here. I have never understood it myself. By what yardstick do we measure the level we are on? What does it mean to be below average, average or above average?

This is so true... It's good to have a preference but under no day should you be sooo laser-focused on it, that you end up missing the beautiful suiters that fall short of your list... I speak from experience... I used to be the "tall, dark, handsome, age 35 to 45" type of girl ... Well, fortunately I got to experience what is probably the most handsome of that field and I must say it was a bland as white bread... UNTIL, one day I changed to be open to everyone, that was (with no lie) the very same day I met my loving boyfriend (the best I ever had) is he the age I'd normally go for? NO, is he tall? well yes, is he dark? he's white .. and is he handsome? absolutely!! my point is.. be open, as long as they fit your fundamentals, be OPEN!

What one is used to one is used to. Experience and information at the time either subconsciously or consciously sets the standard and there is nothing wrong with it because who is for you will be for you. They are designed for you and you are designed for you. But you attract each other when you're living and not just looking...true or what are your thoughts?
