I would also add that connected to knowing yourself would be knowing your intention. I see a lot of people trying to fit a square peg into a round whole; as in, they expect a situationship to turn into a relationship and that rarely works. Men are great "compartmentalizers" and rarely do they transfer a woman from one category into another unless he had the intention of doing that do begin with. I remember you saying years ago, "things come easier when you are intentional." So if you intend to be a girlfriend, move that way. If you intend to be a wife, move that way. You have to move for what you want.

When you feel really drawn to someone on the first date, when you feel so much chemistry with the person and you feel like you have known them for years even if it has been like 2 hours Be really really careful. (Or run) You feel that connection with someone because they have the potential to hurt you - they remind you of someone from your childhood who hurt you. That is why you feel so safe around them, because you already know them. You don't fall in love with someone that easily, you fall in love with someone when you get to know them. Over time. The feeling of being crazy in love actually tells you that there is danger, you brain is trying to warn you but we always say "omg he is my soulmate, I feel so much chemistry blabla" Be aware ladies.

Breeny Lee I second this! Maybe covering the steps leading up to a date ie, talking on the app, to texting, to calling, to then scheduling something. What to look out for in those beginning moments of basic communication, important questions to ask without it sounding like an interview, etc. And then subsequent to that, perhaps just dating in multitude. Sometimes when something doesn’t work out with someone, it’s viewed as a “fail” but shifting that mindset, AND how to avoid dating exhaustion! I’ve been on dating apps for over a year since I graduated and I have been on countless dates but NOTHING has transpired into an actual relationship.
