That's more my style of camping. It cracks me up when I see videos about how wonderful the campground is and it looks more like an RV sales lot there packed in so close.

We are here at High Falls now! Site #38 is pull thru which is nice for a two night stay but right on the road and small. Looks like someone previously sideswiped the electrical hookups bc it’s U shaped and a bit narrow but we will be back now that we’ve seen so many other prime wooded sites. . We usually go to Indian Springs when coming through this lovely area. Thanks for the recommendation. XO

Jerry glad to see another video from you. This was a nice looking area and one I would do if I didn't have to go through Atlanta. I enjoyed the video except something with the video when you would turn the image would kind of mess me up a little but otherwise another great video. Stay safe.

Thanks. Great to hear you’re enjoying our videos. The camera doesn’t like a fast pan left or right. I need to slow the turns a little. Also forgot my UV filters and the winter sun angle gave me a fit.

Oh I love High Falls. We actually went there twice last spring. Once in March (the weekend that schools shut down for COVID) and we stayed in 116 at the lakeside across from the Yurts and went again at the end of April and stayed at the river campground. See my videos for both of those. Although my production is nowhere as polished as yours.

Thanks. We’ll check out the video. Safe travels.

Cindy and I love this park. We camped las time across from the Yurts in the upper campground. At about 2 am I fellt the RV buzzing like my cordless drill in the storage unit was turned on and vibrating the storage unit under the bed. I walked outside and found that it had rained and the dam was shedding more water than when we retired, and the ground was buzzing under foot apparently from the dam's vibration. It wasn't disturbing but unique. The current here is rapid and any underwater rocks should be assumed to be very slick. The high falls looks like a no risk water slide but is not. One other observation, the exit from I-75 makes you assume this is a city like park. It isn't you drop steadily into a wilderness like area, any city noise is drowned out by the noise of the falls. Our RV is a Rockwood 2205S Pulled by an F-150 Crew Cab. Our RV alone is 23'10" and fit nicely into the into the upper campsites. We have been subscribed KZbin fans of I Love RV Life for a couple of years. Keep up the great work!!!

Thanks so much for watching our channel. Great to hear you all are enjoying the videos. What a unique experience during the dam shed. This really is a gem of a state operated campground. The lake side campground is a favorite for the small to mid sized RVs. Safe travels.

Your videos are always informative and entertaining. Thanks for the hard work in putting these out we are staying there in June because of your video. I did hear there are ticks and its better creek side than lake side is that true?
@iLoveRVlife3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much. Depends on the size of your RV. You get the view of the lake behind the dam and a shorter walk to the falls. The creek side is newer, larger sites and a little more spacious. I hike year round. Stay out of the high grass and bushes. I also spray a little Backwoods Off on my ankles, neck and wrist when I’m running around in the woods just in case. Can’t remember the last time I had a tick bite.
