The high flow NEXT is a smart flow and water quality sensor which also measures the coolant temperature. In addition it features a customizable OLED display and addressable RGB LEDs. The USB interface in connection with the aquasuite software allows an extensive monitoring and control.

Aqua Computer components are pretty much the best if not the only for total control of a/several liquid cooling loops in a system. I have an Aquaero 6 XT in my build and find it very useful with it only having 1/2 major flaw(s) (in my opinion only), the inability to quickly switch between profiles with the included remote and the inability to assign the LCD F touch keys to a desired profile. I personally think that these features are so basic that the user should be able to do this "out of the box" given how much a base Aquaero unit costs, plus four LCD F touch keys for the 4 different profiles makes so much more sense than have them only be able to display pages. Really good engineering goes into Aqua Computer components no doubt which is why I assume such basic functionality is not even thought of to begin with. Unless I'm completely wrong and these things are possible in which I ask how please.

@@AquaComputerGermany Yes, I am aware of that functionality. But I would have to leave the Aquasuite software along with the service running in the background which I prefer not to. When the Aquasuite service is running in the background, my center speaker from my 5.1 surround setup emits a low humming sound which is pretty annoying. The ability to assign four LCD F touch keys to a profile would make more sense then having to use hotkey combinations. I had to purchase a cheap little IR remote to be able to switch profiles easily with the push of a single button using the IR options in the Aquaero.

This is freaking amazing! Just what I need for my mini itx watercooled system. Only two questions: 1) How on earth can I get this in Australia? I can't seem to order from your site. 2) Can this relay the flow rate and particularly coolant temperature information to third party software like HWINFO? If not, can you use your aquacomputer suite of software to control fan speed based on a number of different sensor inputs and fan curves? (for example, based on highest SSD temp OR cpu temp OR coolant temp, with the highest fan speed applying) Thanks!

You can order from our website but regular shipping to Australia will be very expensive. You should write an e-mail and ask to have it shipped with a padded envelope as registered mail. This will cost 8.00 EUR. To my knowledge HWiNFO can read the temperature and water quality but not the flow rate. Of course you can access all values with our own software. Controlling fans with out software requires that you also own a fan controller from us. The software can not access any other devices. Adjusting the speed by system values is no problem.

can you please for the love of god put this stuff into the hands of a knowledgeable reviewer/influencer. maybe garmer's nexus? i have a cuplex kryos NEXT with VISION am4 block. i thought it had some way to measure flow rates, but it only measures temp. i guess it makes sense since it's so small. but the description was NOT clear. i want to say misleading, but i don't want to sound angry. i want to also get a 3090 strix block and a flow meter, but i can't for the life of me figure what i actually need to buy and how it needs to be set up. you guys CLEARLY do not know how to make instructional videos. none of the stuff you posted on youtube actually gives me any useful info. there are 3 different flow sensors that are supposedly compatible with my block. i don't need one with a screen because i already have my CPU block. but i don't know which meter i need and where in the sam hell i'm supposed to plug it in and with which cable (there are multiple) i can't just commit $400 USD+ on a whim without knowing what i'm getting myself into and whether or not i'll actually like it. either make a proper instructional video or find someone to do it for you. thanks in advance.

hi i bought this and it's awesome, i configured the flow alarm to it beeps if flow is low, but when i turn off it keeps constant beeping as of course pumps are not working, is there any way to turn it off manual? as the motherboard is still powered all rgb and stuff connected to usb works so the aquacomputer next keeps working, i just want to turn off the alarm and let the pc like that, not to turn off the PSU everytime i just shut down, hope i explained myself correctly. Thank You!

Check the system tab. You can adjust the standby behavior there and disable the alarms, LED, display etc.

Measured against the number of sensors sold, the complaint rate is hardly worth mentioning. Especially with regard to problems with noise, there have been almost no complaints recently. However, as the flow rate increases, so does the risk of noise. This is hardly avoidable with a mechanically operating sensor.

You can also use it without software. All basic functions will work but for a complete configuration you will need the software. Afterwards you can disconnect the PC again.

If you place an order now, it will take about 6-8 weeks. Waiting for availability in the shop is almost hopeless because the demand is currently always higher than the production capacity so there are no units left for stock because they are required to process the huge backlog.

If I order one of these how does it connect to my octo fan controller? Also I’m a bit fuzzy on aquasuite. If we buy the products why do we eventually have to pay for updates?

The only possible connection to the OCTO requires a special cable (not available yet) that will be connected between the flow port of OCTO and the signal port of the sensor. The sensor has an option to fake the signal of a classic high flow sensor. Please note that this only provide the flow value. The temperature and water quality is not accessible that way. Our products have a runtime of many years and the software is under constant development which of course also generates huge costs that can not be covered with just the price of the product. You are not forced to update the software - so you only pay if you want a new version.

@@Methodical2It can only provide the flow rate with cable no. 53295 which is already tricky since the sensor just mimicks the signal of a classic high flow sensor which the OCTO can then read on its flow port. There will be no further data available since the OCTO is no aquabus master device that could directly communicate with the sensor. The only master device is the aquaero and even that can only read the flow rate and water temperature but does not have any access to other features like the conductivity value or RGB control etc. The aquabus can not replace a USB connection.

@@ViperFox_ Check the English manual of your mainboard, on page 31 ("USB 2.0 Header) you will find a schema. GND/NC is the side with the missing pin and on this side you have to connect the black wires. Our manual also shows a colored schema of a typical internal USB 2.0 port.

Where do you intent to mount this sensor, in regards to see the beautiful LED-ballett and the OLED-display and to operate the keys? I mean, this will go into the water loop which is usually inside the closed computer case at the side of the desk. And it wants to be connected via USB and all the other connections.

It is up to you where you place it. The display and especially the buttons are useful for customers that do not use this sensor in a typical PC environment. We have plenty of industrial and scientific customers. They usually update and configure such devices once with a laptop and then use it as a stand alone device without being connected to a PC.

Die Messung erfolgt über die elektrische Leitfähigkeit des Kühlmittels. Kommt es zu Verunreinigungen bzw. Korrosion oder sind die Korrosionsschutz-Inhibitoren des Kühlmittels aufgebraucht, so steigt die Leitfähigkeit des Kühlmittels stark an.

@@charley2070 Das ist bei jedem Kühlmittel bzw. jeder Flüssigkeit so. Destilliertes ist eine ganz schlechte Idee. Das ist zwar zu Beginn kaum leitend, aber nimmt dann in vergleichsweise kurzer Zeit rasant zu und beschleunigt den Prozess der Korrosion. Das Double Protect Ultra enthält Zusätze, die die Leitfähigkeit möglichst lange niedrig halten. Natürlich nimmt die auch hier über die Zeit zu - aber es dauert vieeeel länger.

Man... I just want a good, detailed, clean, reliable OLED flow rate meter. Not this RGB nonsense. Products in the market are either not enough or, in this case, too much. It's nice and all. But... It's more than is needed for the functionality. Though the software is a nice touch. I'll give it some consideration but I have yet to find a digital flow rate meter that hits me just right.

It still makes sense to determine the quality of the coolant, and you can also see whether your fins are clogging over time because your flow rate is decreasing.
