High Guardian Spice but it’s only the "adult content"

Basically the parts of High Guardian Spice that catch you off guard for how out of place they are because you'd initially think it was a boring toddler show. And no one would blame you, first clip isn’t even until episode 3.
Also blurred a couple parts, this show can get surprisingly graphic for no reason.

This show was such a missed opportunity. They could have made it a Madoka Magica like show, where everything seems cutesy at first and then they uncover the dark secrets of the world, maybe the school they’re at is actually evil and they’re training them to become members of an evil army. Then after that it takes a darker turn and the girls have to team up with each other to fight the corrupt people and expose them being bad, and then they save the world or something. That way the violent stuff wouldn’t have felt so forced in, they could have made it actually work if they took the “everything seems fine until something bad happens, exposing the dark truth, then the series takes a darker turn” way. But no, they had to ruin it.
