Yes cause he played in the most pitching friendly ball park in the league without great offensive teams around him and is a catcher who got the most out of his pitchers and was the power in big games...you have to watch him play to understand why he is a first ballot hofer

That was actually a solid list by Mad Dog. I was shocked he didn’t include any of his Yankees players. Alanna’s list was ROUGH. Ranking SS Corey Seager over OF Mike Trout because she thinks Trout gets injured too much; Seager has a lengthy injury history himself. Then she put in C Salvador Perez at #10, & OF Aaron Judge at #11 despite him debuting way later than 2009.

If Freeman is a lock then Goldschmidt is a lock. There’s not much of a difference if at all between them. If anything Goldschmidt should be more of a lock because he came up later than Freeman yet the counting stats and hardware all around are pretty close,and Goldschmidt’s MVP was in a full season.
