Those bottles are old, but only about 65-70 years as screw top bottles came out in the 1950's in the US. Thanks for providing GPS info, I hope to get out to see some of these things in the future. I really enjoy seeing these old homesteads and wondering about how folks lived back then.

I know they were very poor back then. Life was definitely hard.

Supposedly my family used to own high knob back in the20s/30s. I have great memories of going there to ride horseback. Very beautiful place. Thank you for the video!

That cemetery is our family cemetery. Lawrence Family cemetery, I think? Descendants of the Shawnee tribe. From the 1800s, early 1900s.

My dad and I went up the fire tower in the early sixties. My dad's boyhood home was down over the hill from the tower about a mile. My dad grew up in this forest and hills.

I was convinced that I had found an unmarked cemetery there south of the foundation to the old P.O. just East of the log hut over West of Rocky Comfort road. It also had standing unmarked tombstones that were rectangular rather than flat just like yours. Actually more of them than in your cemetery. Turns out they were supports for an outbuilding foundation. That was a let down.
