steve perry, wanya morris and luther were exceptional on this note very well supported. however David Phelps and his otherworldly Tenor Voice shines through like a beam from heaven. his resonance alone would overtake half the men on this list. its not just about hitting notes but he sings with such power, passion, control and resonance from very low to his upper reaches.

@@ingropetinal3915 I think there were plenty of supported C#5s throughout the video. Just because a note doesn't have that dark wonderful tone that David's does, it doesn't mean it's not supported. Take Adam Lambert's (0:57), for example. It has a nice, bright sound, yet it sounds supported to me.

I honestly really like Luther’s. It’s probably not the best by any objective standard, and he’s clearly singing above his comfort, but it’s really soulful and has that thick slightly gritty sound that almost all these other guys lack.

Bryan has the most beautiful 5th octave notes. Very smooth and easy with a subtle tone. That's very unusual for guys, even the ones with the super high voices. I'd say Bryan, Davi and Adam were the best. I really liked Joshua's. He perhaps has the best timbre of the guys here. Incredibly beautiful.

Ive been on a quest to fix my high notes trying to bring some chest back up into my 5th octave voice since I developed vocal nodules Some days I sound like I should give up singing Other days I can belt out a fairly clear and powerful C#5 but like always with me my main issue is stamina I used to be able to sing a bit like Robert plant and Bruce Dickinson had a baby now my voice is more hoarse usually and my vibrato is not as smooth as it used to be but I think I'm still a bit of a tenor and I can still sing the blues

Meh...some of these I wouldn't have even bother to include, when we're talking a split second of noise reaching a C#5, to me that's different than hitting the note. Gotta say, I'm actually impressed with Adam Lavine's, was actually solid. Some of these singers like Michael Bolton, Bruno Mars, Steve Perry, Adam Lambert...it doesn't really blow me away because we all know they got vocal chops and can smash a high note. Adam Lavine, though...he's always had that high, whiny kind of voice but reverts to falsetto so often I was kind of shook by that clean C#5, sounded really good too.

Luis Miguel has an impress voice along with Brian McKnight among many. However you did injustice showing mediocre clips of their voice performance vs a better showcase of their vocal potential. Jonah Nilsson is not only an impressive singer but a awesome keyboard player. David Phelps may have a power voice for many but doesn't have the swagger, soul or belting of Luis Miguel, Brain McKnight, Jonah Nilsson.

I think that's actually the only time Mitch sang a C#5 live. It's a shame that they didn't include the longer C#5 that happened literally two seconds after the cut. One of my favorite Mitch vocals ever.
