@hubrisnaut
@hubrisnaut 4 жыл бұрын
@@zumbazumba1 There is plenty of information on the internet about making the more stable stable potassium perchlorate with an electrolytic cell. To make potassium nitrate you would have to make nitric acid from concentrated ammonia first. Not easy but it can be done with the right lab equipment. You can also make it in traditional ways by using animal dung or urine. Under the right conditions, the precursor can potentially be collected from aged farm animal urine and dung leavings and from bat or bird guano. The Wikipedia entry on it has a good overview of the various processes. All that said, you could just buy it in small amounts for use in hobby rockets.

I played around with the sugar one quite a bit as a kid, what you have to do is add some kind of retarding agent to the mix because without it it's just a rocket as you know it's a very very fine line between slowing it down enough to actually ignite, and just turning it into a rocket. if I recall correctly dextrin what what I ended up using based off some old trials I dug up I want to say something like 10% Dextrin 50% PN 25% sucrose 15% baking soda Just a thought, this was at least a decade ago and I honestly don't remember it all too well.
