Hi, nice info there. I just purchased a slightly tuned Mini with around 90HP with some of your parts. The clutch has almost no feel and no travel, I suspect the plunger could be half broke, could be other thing, first thing I'll check once the car arrives. In the near future I'll have to replace the bearing because it sounds a bit, what clutch system do you recommend for my setup? Its a 72 A series with a pre verto clutch, something for back roads fast driving and an ocassional track day maybe. Thanks!

Changing from Verto to Pre-Verto is fine unless you are running an SPi or MPi car as that requires a Verto flywheel and clutch pressure plate for the two different crankshaft sensors. But great explanation on the differences though

Ring gears are different So they use a different starter

I've seen people mention wearing out crank thrust bearings with heavy duty clutch covers, is this an issue?

Yes definitely. We do not recommend going more than a grey spec diaphragm for this reason. The orange are ok.

Whats the advantage changing verto to pre-verto besides less weight?

There's a better range of flywheels and diaphragms available for these, when back in production at least.
