The best way I've been able to explain commander is it is a designation for that card(s). No matter what happens to it, it and only it have that designation. Example: Darksteel Mutation on a commander, say it has 5 +1/+1 counters. The indestructibug does 5 commander damage when it hits a player in combat.

@11:51 -1+ -1= -2 ..... That counters are additive. Yes it would be nice to keep track of equal +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters but WotC thinks these should zero each other out and thus the creature has 0 counters when negative and positive counters are equal.

Hello, it happened at 1:03:25 and I see it happening in my casual games a lot too: A player has a sorcery and an instant in his hand, they always play the sorcery and hold priority, to also play the instant on top of the sorcery. Why do people do that? People in my playgroup too. Play the sorcery speed boardwipe, instantspeed give all your creatures protection. (while holding priority) That's the suboptimal play. You give away free information and give your opponent the perfect window to counter or interact. Just play your instantspeed thing (for example the indestructible thing), then play the sorcery speed boardwipe afterwards. :) Otherwise, a great game as always, Banter is on an alltime maximum level.
