7809 IC is for 9V output, you have to use a 7805 IC for 5v output You have to use very big heatsink ,

Hello, Liner regulators are meant to convert extra voltage into heat , means if you are going to convert 12V to 5V 10A then the rest of the voltage 7v will turned into heat , so you have to effectively cool the transistor for right output current

@@Electronic_For_You Only has surface space for 15 MM. TIP3055 is 15MM. What should I do?????? It is a 200 led 20 vertical 10 horizontal should flash up & down All should not light up all the time at the same time just 15 sec. 4 AMP. when all lit the circuits 1 AMP.
