Love watching and learning from your videos! Wish our thrift stores here in East Texas were that good! At 44:46 you passed up on the cement angel (holding up the star) by the Midwestern artist Isabel Bloom. They are not super high priced for resale but are very collectable!

Hey Sam! It's been a while since I've left a real comment, but I have been watching your videos. I've had so much going on for a while now, so much stress, & now our car broke down & I have been super sick for about 3 days. I wish I knew why so much happens all at once. I know what you mean about being psychic. Im pretty sure I am, as well & so was my mom. I thought she was a bit nutty. 😂 She always knew exactly when something wasn't right when I was away from home. I just didn't understand. But mine goes deeper than just being a psychic, which is awesome all on its own. Im also considered a medium or clairvoyant. I have seen things & very rarely heard whisperings. I just wish I knew how to deal with it. Anyways....you two crack me up! You guys are chicken soup for the soul! 🤗😊 Great video & great finds! There's always something I want from your finds. 😊 I also have not forgotten about the milk glass. I still want to purchase a few pieces from you. Just give me some time. I don't want to spend money yet until we figure out our car. Love you guys! 🫶💕🫶💕

lol its ok! if you go on your Google, you just put our name here Jolie flips vintage and then just write Etsy and it’ll pop right up. Also, in one of the descriptions, I think we have a link in our videos. A third option would be on Instagram to go into the link tree in the bio :-) there’s a direct link to the site.

Hi Sam. I love you. I must say that your comment "Canadian s eat a lot of horse meat" is not true as far as I know. I'm from Winnipeg, and I've never heard of any horse meat for sale in any store here, ever. Please put that comment into some sort of context. I don't want the world to think badly about Canada.
@jolieflipsvintage17 күн бұрын
in the 90s, it was very common for horse meat to be sold as far as I know. It it was prescribed if you had low iron and we found it just like cut up meat you would find at the grocery store everywhere in Quebec. I have also found it in Ottawa and we found it in Ontario as well. So as far as the 90s go because that’s why we lived there that’s why I saw it.
@jolieflipsvintage17 күн бұрын
sorry I was talk texting, I meant when we lived there that’s when we saw it.
@LAWittmann913717 күн бұрын
Thanks for clarifying.

Have lived all over Canada since the 80s. Never have I seen horsemeat for sale. Maybe I'm not shopping in the right places to notice it? Never been served it at a friends. Never seen it on a menu. What is this fake news you're spreading!? 😆 Maybe a Montreal thing? Maybe a cultural thing? I dunno but this was news to me. I can see how it would be a good source of iron. Doctors usually recommend red meat and liver for that.
@jolieflipsvintage16 күн бұрын
yeah, I hope I mentioned in the video that it was when I was growing up… I have to go back and see if I mentioned that. in Quebec, they used to produce it and then export it all over Canada is what I understand. It was sold at the stores like chicken and beef. I grew up thinking that was a normal thing. In fact we ate it sometimes but it’s very very lean. A little tough. much like deer meat. Not sure if they still do it but definitely not fake news lol
