You’d hardly ever use a fork unless mother of pearl, as it would possibly damage the eggs, which are supposed to burst on the tongue. A spiky fork like those would never do.

You said a few times on days like this your battery was getting low. Rechargeable battery packs that you can take along are so inexpensive and handy. I really think you got great items today! After the passing of my husband I started slowly to think about the future,I had a dream and then my son’s illness got so much worse that he couldn’t live home with his family anymore and was placed in a real bad nursing home,we hadn’t seen that from the beginning and he wanted to live near his own house. My daughter in law and myself started to go 3 and 4 times a week to help him.All our dreams are gone because every day is a fight to keep my child alive.I go 4 times a week for 7 hours every time. His illness makes him a very bitter man of 40..My dream now and theirs too,is finding him a place where they give him the help he needs.🙏🏻 The little porcelain creamer is very beautiful. And the three doggies are super cute. I liked everything you got today. Love bougie so much,he is so cool!😂

Wow Danni you hit the mail on the head!! My mother said why start nursing cause you never finish anything. Some how I turned it around & my mantra was I’ll show her & I did finish LPN school. Later I went on to become a Registered Nurse cause my husband & I were not working out & at the time I knew to support my 2 kids I had to get more education to be a RN. On my mirror I taped a beautiful paper picture of a house & that kept me motivated. Now a day young people make collage of things they want in the future my thing is what ever helps is good. Ty for an inspired video. I want to do this but I get tongue tied on camera

I have to say that my parents bought me a horse because I wanted one since I was a 4. After 8 more years they did get me a horse. That really helped me through my teenage issues and helped me to be a better person. As you know, animals are amazing and do more for us humans than we could ever imagine. My horse kept me sane during the 70’s. Yup, I’m almost 70.

Hi Danni. About the Old King Cole figurine: it's not a damage that happened after purchase, it's done before it was even glazed, so it's really a maker's defect. I don't know if that affects the price or if it's a distinction without a difference. I really liked those two bird salt and pepper shakers and was surprised you didn't get them for yourself, since, like me, you collect birds. You would no doubt laugh to see me watching your videos and commenting out loud "get it for Noah" or " but your daughter LOVES horses". Speaking of which, that mare nursing her foal would have been perfect for her, since she's also an artist. I rather think she might have liked to make it her own by decorating it to her liking. But you know her better, so I'll just zip it now.🤐🤫🤭🤗 Watch you religiously. learn a lot from you, and enjoy every minute of it. Dani, the wooden containers with Ushuaia are for Yerba mate, traditional drink in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. Hard to find in US! Ushuaia is the capital of Tierra del Fuego, famous for being the southernmost point in South America before you hit Antarctica. Yerba mate tastes like green tea.

Jul = christmas in Norwegian, Danish and Swedish So they are christmas plates from Rörstrand. People buy them as christmas presents and collect then, or used to. Not worth much. Royal Copenhagen does the same, especially with the brass/gold christmas decor. Some old Rörstrand glass figurines are valuable, though, as the designers worked or trained in murano glass.

My dream has always been to travel. I started my adventures 40 years ago. I’m 64 now, and have been to all 50 states 🇺🇸 which was a personal travel goal of mine. I’ve been all through Canada and Europe many times. Went through the Panama Canal in 2019 before Covid shut the world down and my travel dreams were put on hold. So many places left to see and so little time! I was disheartened. 😔 That’s when I started watching KZbin travel videos which somehow led to thrifting videos. Which led to The Niche Lady and Thrifting Vegas. LOL! It’s been four long years since I’ve pulled out my passport. But I’m leaving for Israel at the end of the month. The dream is back! 😃 Sometimes dreams need to be temporarily put on hold for one reason or another. Things we can’t control and things we can control but we make excuses or give in to our fears. The important thing is to get out there AND JUST DO IT! Time is a gift! ❤😃🐢

The small terracotta masks are called passport masks, originally from Dan people in Cote D'Ivoire and were used as protection during travel. Think those were more contemporary but still valuable!
