Hey Marco - I feel like I owe it to you to say thanks for this tutorial. I've watched it a mildly psychotic number of times because I kept putting off starting my Soulblight Gravelords army, but today I finally did the first two skeletons as test models, mostly following your process here, and not only did they come out looking fantastic, it was also a ton of fun to do and... quick by my standards. I tend to be very slow and methodical for a number of reasons, but these two skellies are by FAR the least amount of time I've ever spent on basic troop models and I don't feel one bit like I should've done it slower. I'm all kinds of fired up to do the rest of the unit and really sink my teeth into this army project now. Grazie mille!!

I just bought CurSED city (lol love your accent), but I wanna cry now, 13 models, 4 hours!!!! You confuse me though. Your oil painting videos (which I love, being a 60 year old who as a kid painted 54mm Historex and Airfix Napoleonic figures with oils, badly) claim to be the way for speed with super results but then you still paint with acrylics. Surely those capes scream to be painted with oils? Oh how I wish I could get the results with oils but I end up with mud! Thanks for your videos. Slainté

This is the product of a professional artist who understands color theory like we understand breathing, knows his tools like his own heartbeat, and has taken a process developed in a much more complex environment and brought it down to a miniature level. This is like watching Da Vinci get bored and craft with match sticks.
