7:10. I'm not saying that pulling the minions is always good, but if you do that, it's likely that enemy minions will kill your melee minion first before they get to lane, making them miss an ENTIRE melee minion exp.

I love the fourth tip rogue I’ve always had the problem of wanting to push for level 2 advantage over my laners but not too hard that its a second wave crash and will try this out in the top lane. Might be harder to hit casters if the enemy laner is there but still should work.

Overall a good video, however you specifically want to avoid the situation of tip 3 5:45. In a melee vs ranged matchup, the melee player will struggle way way less to lasthit if you do this. Fizz can use his E to get all 3 cs, Ekko can Q, Talon can W etc etc. By using your ability on all 3 minions and the Fizz here, you almost always create a 2 wave crash which is also bad most of the time, because it gives the melee player more breathing room to farm and play out the bounce where they can hit lv3 faster as well. To prevent this it is often best to auto a ranged creep to switch up the aggro of the minions, this way your minions die 1 by 1 instead of all at the same time, meaning the melee player can't cs all 3 at the same time, is forced to walk up for lasthits more frequently, all while setting up your own lasthits and you keeping your ability to poke the enemy.

That's exactly what came in to my mind. For a pro coach, this is misleading to not attack range creep and thus create more poke opportunities. Other tips very good though 😊

He specifically said against melee champs without abilities that can safely get cs and he literally mentioned talon as an example of one that can... Notice how the lux only E when the minions were 1 HP? That's because if Fizz used E to kill them, the lux would still have her E, and then fizz gets minimum half his health gone from Lux autoing and using E (can two times rotation btw) Killing the melee creeps using lux E also will NOT cause a two wash crash, because none of the casters were damaged and your melee minions died at virtually the same time. But what you said is applicable still. Just recognize that his tip is only really for the first three minions (you can tell because he prefaced that tip with the first 3 melee minions die at the same time)

you didn't mention the trick where you aggro enemy casters on 1st wave on 1 melee to prevent enemy champion to kill 3 melees at the same time with 1 aoe spell and instead they have to use spell on 1 minion and then they have to walk up to last hit the other 2

Seen it, applied tip 1 as ADC in bot while my support roamed, the next wave stopped in a far safer area. applying tip 1 felt like early humanoids learning how to light fire 🔥

That last tip is one I've unconsciously been employing against other top lanes. I main Kayle and I've gotten really good at taking minions one wave at a time and letting them push. But I take them quick enough that it's awkward for the enemy top laner...

Melee minion are a very "special" kind of minion and if they can find a weird path to run under tower they will. So dropping 2 Cs to really make sure is better 😅

5:08 cool tip but far from really good tip. Typically Chovy was the one who was pulling the first minion further back just so all 3 minions doesnt die in the same time → meaning enemy laner is using mana and CD just for one CS. Good thing about this is that you can even in ranged matchup Your tip 3 works only against specific champs while champions like Sylas are crazy chilling there

For the first advice, keep in mind that if the enemy pushes you under tower to recall, you can let the enemy melees walk in tower range so the tower helps you push and match their recall more easily (most applicable on midline, since it's shorter). Like all things in this very complex game, it depends on the circumstances.

That’s terribly wrong advice. The moment the enemy crashes the wave 1, wave 2 will reach the tower at around ~35s later, your wave will create a fast push, and he will be at the lane when that happens. Wave is thin enough for him to freeze, and the fast push won’t be fast enough to make him lose minions. By not allowing the wave 2 to reach tower range, you create a slow push, and even with item advantage the enemy cannot contest the push, neither freeze the wave, allowing the player to crash, and recall. If the player is low and needs to reset, the best play still is to prevent wave 2 from touching the tower, recall, and TP back. Even if the player doesn’t have TP, the priority should be to prevent the enemy from creating a freeze, even if it means risking giving a kill (Getting low during the opponent’s “turn” was already a mistake, at this point there’s no miracle play, you are playing for the least worst outcome).
