Best reach i ever used, great visibility and awesome controls. I used them on 10.5 meter, double deep racking. For those that don't know, that is a double deep reach used in single deep racking. With double deep racking the forkilft front wheels (legs?) go inder the racking (as the pallets are off the ground) allowing the forklift to reach further in. This is common in cold storage in Australia. Generally a pretty boring job though.

There is a safety issue, at least from amazon pov, is a massive one actually. You aren't allowed to move or spin with the forks or pallets in the air, you always have to get in position before you lift or lower those forks. I assume everywhere should be the same.

This is true but i work in a cold storage warehouse that operates reach trucks twice this height and they don’t care as long as you know you can handle it. Obviously that would differ if an OSHA representative was there (which they never are). But as long as you’re smooth and slow with the turn as you’re raising the pallet up, nothing bad will happen. But to go against what i just said, if a safety committee representative as my self were to watch you do this, we’d definitely say something and write you up if it kept happening(because that’s our job) but we turn a blind eye to it because it definitely increases productivity. But it is definitely not the right way to do it.
