In this episode of Cities Skylines 2, we dive back into the bustling and intricate world of Tiny Town. Our primary focus today is on Tiny Walk City, a pedestrian paradise where the issues of abandonment and unhappiness due to small home sizes continue to challenge us. Watch as we strategize and implement new ways to improve the living conditions and overall happiness of our residents in this unique city.
We also tackle a major traffic problem in Tiny Circle City. The congestion here has been a long-standing issue, but we believe we have found a solution. By creating a new express highway that bypasses the most congested areas, we aim to alleviate the traffic woes and make commuting smoother for everyone. This significant infrastructure change is expected to have a big impact on the city's traffic flow.
Our efforts to attract new residents to Tiny Walk City continue as we expand and remodel various districts. With the population currently at 2,800, we compare it to Tiny Circle City's 42,000 residents and set goals to boost Tiny Walk City's population. By remapping and renaming districts, we aim to create a more organized and appealing living environment.
In addition to residential improvements, we also focus on increasing job opportunities. We identify a significant unemployment issue, particularly among the uneducated and well-educated population. Our strategy involves expanding commercial zones and creating more job opportunities to ensure that every resident has access to employment.
The challenge of maintaining a balance between high density and low rent continues to be a central theme in our urban planning. We experiment with different building types and zoning laws to create affordable housing without compromising on space and comfort. This episode showcases our ongoing efforts to find the perfect balance in Cities Skylines 2.
We also address the issue of high noise pollution in Tiny Walk City. By analyzing noise maps and identifying the loudest areas, we implement measures to reduce noise and improve the living conditions for our residents. This is a crucial step in making Tiny Walk City a more attractive place to live.
Our transportation network sees significant upgrades as well. We optimize train crossings and implement new routes to ensure smooth transit within and outside the city. These changes are expected to reduce traffic congestion and make public transportation more efficient and reliable for all residents.
As we continue to develop Tiny Walk City, we explore the potential of new commercial and residential areas. By strategically placing businesses and homes, we aim to create a thriving community where residents can live, work, and play without having to travel far. This holistic approach to urban planning is key to our success in Cities Skylines 2.
In this episode, we also experiment with new ways to increase the population density without causing overcrowding. By carefully planning the layout and design of new buildings, we ensure that every resident has enough space and access to amenities. This is essential for maintaining a high quality of life in Tiny Walk City.
Our efforts to solve the high rent issue continue as we introduce more low rent housing options. We hope that by providing affordable housing, we can attract more residents and reduce the overall rent burden on our population. This is a critical aspect of our strategy to make Tiny Walk City more livable and sustainable.
Lastly, we face the ongoing challenge of attracting tourists to Tiny Walk City. By developing unique attractions and improving the overall appeal of the city, we aim to boost tourism and bring in additional revenue. This is an exciting aspect of our urban planning journey in Cities Skylines 2.
