Spoiler alert... Burty dives through a window, action hero style landing as he smashes burned face into the ground and proceeds to almost pumble him to death. So awesome, so sad and so funny. Trott does something that isnt just a fail, it's the kind that can only be called trotting(always so funny see how they go).loved his chase scene tho.

What if we split the idle champion dice into thirds. The players get 2/3 (rounded up) and the DM gets the last third, also unspent dice do to the DM next round. That way its about calculated dice roll (instead of like 50 dice to players to almost always win contest)
@Raven77446 жыл бұрын

Disengaging allows you to move full distance without provoking attacks. (30). Move action (30). Action Dash (30).
@songwritertom6 жыл бұрын
High Rollers DnD disengage doesn't allow you to make full movement however
@4N0081s6 жыл бұрын
Disengaging allows you to move you normal distance without incurring opportunity attacks. The effect is what you gain from disengage. You don't get to dash with disengage. otherwise why would you ever take the dash action if disengage offers exactly that and more.

The burned man couldnt have moved 90 ft. if he Disengaged from Bertie. He would have only moved 60 ft. 30 for his movement and another 30 for his Bonus Action _or_ his Action to Dash since he would have had to spend one of the two to Disengage.

Uhhh. They barely have enough players as it is. They should get a bigger group. Three players a week just isn’t that entertaining. Probably fine to play but watching needs more. Especially with the number if people watching. There should be more actors.
@pinkpixels88064 жыл бұрын
smittyo0 I disagree completely. High rollers works so well in my opinion because it’s just a small circle of friends playing a game they love. It would suck if it was like critical role where almost every week a player is absent because there’s too many of them.

Don't worry, Mark. Our D&D party is about as insane. We had to reset the world to prevent it from ending Sunday, and the reset button erased two of the characters and cost everything the party had to obtain from the mysterious merchant. We had gone from 5% story completion and skipped to 95% story completion in 3 bad decisions and with the party at half the level they needed to be.

@tobyhardcastle68306 жыл бұрын
At a normal game I'd agree but I guess he has to do this differently for the cinematics for the audience, they have to consider our enjoyment while normal games should indeed be all for the players
@StilltheAp0llyon6 жыл бұрын
@@tobyhardcastle6830 And having chess players fist fight to capture pieces might be more exciting, but then it isn't chess anymore, is it? Trying to "play to the audience" and delivering trite, planned "action" is the antithesis of what I want in D&D show and if that is what Mark was trying to do then he should be ashamed of himself for such abominable DMing.
@tobyhardcastle68306 жыл бұрын
@@StilltheAp0llyon I don't believe that adjusting the order that events are narrated is as game breaking as fist fighting chess (although I still found HP's wizard chess to be a game of chess). All I was saying is that in a normal game a DM may be expected to sacrifice smoothness and continuity to balance getting to each player, but when publishing a professional work there is an expectation on the DM and the players to produce a higher quality product, which may require them to adjust the narration order
