What's so odd about demons and devils working together? After all, in classic christian mythology there was only one devil and he ruled over all the demons. If Nova falls 100' up in the antigravity field she will exit it's area of effect and then continue going up another 100' by inertia alone if there's no ceiling to strike. At the ~200' apex she will then fall back down, enter the antigravity effect again and then be decelerated to a gentle stop at 0' (assuming no atmospheric drag) at which point she can stop concentrating and take no damage!

Actually, Nova would fall "up" for 2.55 seconds. At that point, she would be 100 feet in the air. Her velocity, assuming a fairly standard weight for the size of the character at 120 pounds (including equipment), would give her a velocity of 22.9 meters per second. After 100 feet she will no longer be accelerating and so we can use ballistic calculations to determine that she would reach a max height of 187.7 feet. Falling 87.7 feet down to the 100 foot mark would not accelerate her to the ground. In fact, it would only get her around the 50 foot mark (because acceleration is not linear but exponential). So no, she wouldn't be able to do what you said. You clearly do not understand basic fundamentals of physics, such as Newton's laws. Please learn more and think about these things before spreading misinformation, assuming you are capable of doing these things. If you are incapable of learning or thinking, then please stop speaking.

Mark jokes about just deciding to move your birthday but my great grandmother was adopted by her aunt and uncle when she was a baby and they decided her birthday was too close to Christmas so they just told her it was a different day. She didn't find out when her real birthday was until she found her original birth certificate when she was in her sixties or something. They also told her she was a year younger than she actually was and that her parents were dead when in reality one was committed to a mental hospital and the other was in prison. You could really just do anything before the internet.

I think we all were confusing True Seeing (the 6th level spell) with Foresight (the 9th level spell). I was adamant that True Seeing was a 9th lvl xD I was also shocked that Kim was even suggesting this big potential spell slot waste lol xD Also, ever since the 6th fingered shadow from Quil's last true sight (or legend lore, it was so long ago, I can't remember :), it had to be Grazz't.

2:34:52 I always thought with a nat20 on a save you succeed regardless of what your mod tells you. Like Alia in some cases needs to roll a nat20 to succeed on a wisdom save if she doesn’t want to be frightened for these high level saves. It’s a nat20 on a ability check that doesn’t follow that idea. Nova rolling a nat20 on whatever her ability check was to make it a 19 because of her mod, then that ability check will fail.

I think that depends from DM to DM, some don’t like to give a Nat 20 that much power, while some might give even more rewards for a Nat 20, like getting 0 damage on a saving throw, etc.

Rules as written, natural 20s only affect attack rolls, initiating critical hits, and death saving throws, restoring you to one hp. Saving throws and ability checks do not have any benefit from rolling a 20 besides it being a big number. However it is certainly a fun homerule

If a wizard is not proficient in dex, then they can never make the save even with a nat20 it would only come out to at most 25. It would make since that with a nat20 you can succeed on the save, so instead of a zero chance you have a 5% chance. However, if that’s how it’s written then ok
