That happens in alot of stories, and religions. And the reasons for it make alot of sense. When you make a world where everything has always been terrible and have no frame of reference for anything better existing. You create a world where a hero or nice person wouldn't exist. As a exercise make a world where the concept of a god or spirits or afterlife doesn't exist. No one believes in anything that would hold them accountable for their actions after death. Second create a world where resources are scarce and for some reason not self sustainable. So you can't farm for food because the soil is incapable of supporting it in close proximity. Third there's no law might makes right. Knowing that things can be better than they are is an intensely powerful motivator.

No/umm maybe? In reality breathing oxygenates blood. So in theory an air genasi simply either does not need oxygen or has blood that is infinitely oxygenated. So if they don’t need it (they breath for show like sentry eats for show) no because they have no oxygen to give. If it’s infinitely oxygenated I guess but only by blood transfusion and well let’s be honest that’s not feasible. However this is all irrelevant cause the chance they don’t have water breathing by the time they get there would be insanely low

The moment when I realised that Mark's Lucious is a bit off. His character isn't boasting his wealth. He was born with silver spoon. His character is a rich elf who couldn't comprehend common life. He is quite innocent and ignorant and almost clueless in the common folks life. When he say something there's no double meaning or even belittled others but Quill, Nova and Aila seems to take it in a bad way for some reason as if they want Lucious to be this asshole. I realised that Lucious appreciate people that he barely even know. Like in Arval case. Or when he begs somebody to cure his party because he can't do anything about it. It really feels off when Lucious wants a room for himself since he is a coward, far from home and he probably at least wants sentry to be his guard.
