@@samharris4654 I agree because she did apologize for taking up time. The other players could easily jump in, saying "Meanwhile, so and so is doing this" because they do that all the time. They're all friends, so they would have easily said something if they didn't want Kim to continue. They're clearly enjoying the rping that Kim has been doing and it's not like her rping is irrelevant to the story. It's a thing that has been brewing ever since they escaped Aegis V and Kim is being true to Nova's character.

I mean Quill even threatened Nova because she was lying to and keeping secrets from the group and now they´re both sitting there like assholes refusing to update the others on what´s going on. Even when Mark said the others could tell they were lying they stuck to their lie forcing the others to give up to get the episode moving forward.

The drama, high stakes, the twists and turns this story is taking. I dare say you couldn't make it better if it were all planned. This was even better and more exciting, and at times nail-biting than the previous episode. I wish one day i might be running a campaign even half as juicy. Thank you for the wonderful stories and characters, all brought to life by each and every one involved. Incidently, personally I played Dungeons and Dragons for the first time over Christmas, DMing for my family (as they are unfamiliar with the game). From my point of view, i wasnt super thrilled with my performance but they liked it enough that we are continuing the adventure. Actually, it started with me running the adventure from the Stranger Things-themed starter set. Hopefully, I'll get better as a DM with experience, and by continuing to watch Mark and High Rollers. In the last week, I have also even been lucky enough to find a group through work that I can play with too, as a player (being a high elf Cleric Druid) which should be less of a challenge... Well just wanted to share. Can't wait to see what happens next! P. S i know Wood Elf gets +1 Wisdom but I really wanted that extra cantrip. The DM painted my guy as a crazy person (travelling preacher, speaks with animals, penchant for fire/sacred flame), when we were going through making my sheet, so I told him I'm really going to lean into that😊😊😂

Very exciting episode, good to watch, though I suspect the ground-crew's greeting might be somewhat different now. The hang-up over the map request honestly had me puzzled - I was very much with Nova on that matter. There's no feasible way that Calus does *not* have all the maps of present day Aerois that he wants at this point - it made sense them being suspicious about whether Nova was correct in her belief that it couldn't' communicate out, but, to get hung up on the map seemed a strange thing, at least the way the other arguments phrased it. ... Though, I suppose... if Calus doesn't have access to ILS-grade scanning/positioning tech while on the 'inside', short of getting lucky when dredging up any of his old crashed ships (presuming he can't easily go back and forth between his exterior ships and bring something across at will... which there's a good chance he can), I guess it pinpointing shard locations *might* be new/useful information to him as well... fair enough...

Well a reason they might have been hung up about the map thing was what Quill mentioned. Using all of Starbane's knowledge, the ILS could probably very easily lead them to a place where the party could die Another thing I thought of was that even if it did lead them to new pieces of Tiangong, the ILS emulating Starbane, it would probably assume that at some point those pieces it led them to, would eventually reach Starbane himself. Anything it does would be planning for the future with the intent of increasing Starbane's power. I definitely think they shouldn't have been as mad at Nova as they got for any of this though. It's not in any of their characters. The only reason they really did was because the players watched every single conversation Nova had with it, and being unable to talk about that in character built up a lot of frustration out of character, that was then released. Mark has mentioned why he doesn't typically make folks leave the room for private conversations, and it's understandable. However, everything a player does or doesn't see will affect how they play

I think the thing is that you couldn't really take the ILS at face value. If it could really find the shards of Tian Gong than theoretically it could find any number if other things. Forces that Starbane wasn't or isn't able to get in touch with. Lost artifacts or whatever is unique to Aerois that Starbane is looking for. The whole idea is that it seems like an innocuous request but nobody can guarantee that it actually is as banal as it sounds.

Yeah, I'm binge watching this series and this whole thing was so frustrating. Aila gave no valid arguments and yet the party listened to them as if they were more valid than Nova's. "What if callus needs that map?" He already has a map if he wants it, he's on aerois. "What if it's telling him our location?" He already knows that too, he has immense magical capabilities that allows him to communicate with Nova in her dreams. Just infuriatingly illogical.
