1. yeah SpongeBob has been going on since 1999. the show currently has 14 seasons with 309 episodes, 3 movies and 2 spinoffs. saying the show went on toon long would be an understatement. 2. Mr Krabs and Plankton used to be best friends before they became business rivals, and later, mortal enemies. Mr Krabs owns the Krusty Krab, the most successful restaurant in Bikini Bottom. while Plankton owns the Chum Bucket, which has never had a customer (at least not one that enjoyed it, or survived eating the food).

Fun fact about the weapons in school thing. According to what i looked up. My home state does allow concealed carrys for teachers if its also approved by the school (idk who in the school makes the call) but the more you know i guess. Also im sure theres hefty restrictions like there is on concealed carrys in general. Maybe even more. I think the bill was introduced to avoid some of the issues around schools the past few years. Very fun reaction!

Wow I don’t think I’ve actually seen this one lol I used to watch the show as a kid almost all the time that it was on and had watched a lot of episodes, but then I grew out of it or so I thought but despite the fact that I have grown up and “grown out of it” it still holds a special place in my heart and I recently have gotten Paramount+ so I think I should probably catch up on the hundreds of episodes that I’ve missed over the years lol 1:32 oh, it’s from a newer season that makes sense. I’ve definitely haven’t seen it I stopped watching probably around season 5 or 6 maybe 7 when I’m not too sure honestly, I can’t remember

Speaking on the drugs/medicine topic, i remember my dad had to drop out of high school because he had to take meds for his epilepsy which had the side effects of making him drowsy and clouding his mind a lot. Then again was the late 70s/early 80s so im not sure if schools have been more lenient in more recent years about it.

I don’t know about back then. But when I was in elementary school my mom had me offer my teacher an apple. She might have accepted it out of kindness. Later on in high school, my teachers do really appreciate it as much. I assume now a days its unheard of.

The logic of them growing a tree in those conditions is especially weird because they’re underwater, and the salt would probably kill the tree instantly. Besides, there’s no carbon dioxide for the tree to breathe. Sandy’s tree would be okay because it’s in an airtight dome, but Plankton’s apple tree would die quickly. (There was also another episode with a tree growing in the water, but I think it was okay because it was breathing from a CO2 tank.)

At my school all the teachers did go through training for intruders after the training they did include the students in a drill for practice most of us took it seriously but there was some that did not they actually told us if any were to happen use whatever we could to defend ourselves some teachers actually kept wasp spray in their desk.

Also, I think I should bring up that my old school district had a policy regarding code of conduct violations that made students under the age of 10 ineligible for expulsion. If a student under the age of 10 committed misconduct listed as a “discretionary expulsion” or “mandatory expulsion” misdemeanor, they’d get sentenced to DAEP instead.

The reason this Season 11 episode feels so vibrant and cartoonish compared to previous modern SpongeBob episodes is likely due to the return of Stephen Hillenburg to the show, the creator of SpongeBob. I noticed watching more recent episodes, especially around this period, the animation and plots are way more lively, and they begin referencing and staying more true to previously established elements from the show, like the good noodle stars and the atomic bomb cutaway. Like some commenters have mentioned, this episode did a training video very similar to SpongeBob’s season 3 episode “The Krusty Krab Training Video," which I would highly recommend you do a reaction to, lots of great satire regarding how that old educational media format was done. The amount of references to Spongebob’s early years in this one show how much thought Hillenberg and the crew put into the show’s roots during this period. Stephen Hillenburg died in 2018, working on the show as long as he could even after announcing his condition in 2017, a legend in animation and responsible for a lot of great childhood memories.

If you compared SpongeBob in 2011 to SpongeBob in 2017, you’d see the difference. The pace of the episodes are way quicker, the jokes are more character-based and less flanderized, and it feels more like a cartoon. The show may have stayed that way since Hillenburg’s passing, but you have to admit his impact on the show around that point.

With the weapons at school, I think If teachers were armed, you would need teachers with a real good amount of patience and tolerance. I feel armed guards or at least police would make it safer for if any bad person came. If a teacher genuinely wants to have something like a weapon to defend their students i think it should be allowed, but hey, i'm not the one in charge, so yeah
