the pedestrian SpongeBob hit was the narrator, the guy behind the whole "Two Hours Later" thing. also yes, those people who were with SpongeBob at Mrs Puff's house were his parents, Harold and Margaret SquarePants. they don't appear as often since SpongeBob lives on his own with his pet Gary.

The parents also look more like wild sponges you see in the ocean. It was nice to show how far sponges have developed in media, from being in the wild sponge to cleaning dishes in the kitchen. ^^

My Most Memorable Extra Credit Activities: 1. Trying to roll a straight Yahtzee in 240 tries and filming it. (It was for AP Statistics.) 2. Trying to predict the winning team for March Madness. (Also for AP Statistics.) 3. Reading an article about video game music and debunking an old-fashioned argument that was in it. (This was for undergrad Music History.) 4. Submitting a picture of a pet or stuffed animal doing homework because it was when COVID started and we were depressed. (This was for undergrad US History Up to 1865.)

One tv series I can highly recommend is Disney's Recess. It's a childhood classic for alot of people, including me, and takes place in a school. It has a very diverse and interesting cast of characters and offers some great added value throughout.

Extra credit can be a lifesaver! But it feels mean when the teacher makes a test challenging based on something not taught in class. Gah, I had teachers do that. They will "spare you" from their lack of effort to teach you. My 6th-grade reading teacher only gave us super easy word searches. It set me back academically.

9:16 Surprised you didn’t have anything to say about this. Mrs. Puff actually encouraging him to use a pen. Like I get she was frustrated and all, but teachers were REALLY strict about us using pencils and not pens back in the day since there was no way to fix work with a pen other than having to completely start over or just crossing things out and making it look sloppy. In fact, we had a math teacher who actually took points off if the work was done in pen, because that’s basically the one subject where each question requires a LOT of writing, not to mention we were also required to show our work.

6:45 I know I already said this but I agree that the extra credit should be related to the content itself. I remember my good friend who I was in freshman history with did an extra credit assignment where he drew a minotaur. Looking back, I’m realizing that it’s not only NOT super relevant to history class, but it’s not an art class, so I don’t know why that was an option we had for extra credit. I, on the other hand, wrote a paper for that class for extra credit, which I believe was a lot more relevant to history (despite the fact I can’t actually remember what I wrote it on 😂)

You commented on pencil sharpeners in the video, and as a recent graduate from about a year ago. My high school had both electric pencil sharpeners usually by the teachers desk or the actual hand crank ones you have to spin and they were on the walls near the doors of each classroom by the trash. I just find it very interesting that something that is almost non existent nowadays still is present in some places of education, as things start to change old relics from previous times still stay strong in some areas. It’s food for thought and it’s interesting to think of. 🧐

The big issue with him being a teen in the main show is that he was allowed to be Pearl's chaperone. And Pearl is around that age as well. I haven't really heard of a teen being a chaperone to a teen within their age range before. Also he can pay taxes and teens can't pay taxes even if they can sometimes get jobs.

6:16 I mean I agree now that i’m an adult that you shouldn’t do extra credit that doesn’t benefit you in any way other than raising your grade. But those opportunities did save my hide quite a few times back in the day. My big philosophy looking back though, in regards to extra credit, is that you shouldn’t wait to do it until your grades have already fallen really behind. Because if the extra credit isn’t worth that many points, it’s not going to help you if you’re already failing, for instance. I’ve learned that the hard way unfortunately. You shouldn’t rely on it to help you out of situations like that because it’s not necessarily going to; instead, I believe you should do it when your grades are already pretty high, or if you have a B or a C. Then it will at least boost your grade to a reasonable level and you can try your best afterwards to maintain it.

We had three primary teachers that we rotated between classes with when I was in fifth grade, and then in sixth grade we had the exact same three with the addition of one additional new one. Such a good and important episode for the Sponge Cinematic Universe 😆 Not only we see SP break the 4th wall and hit the French Narrator who was filming him (watch The Television Theory if you haven't) but also gives a lot of info about Ms. Puff dark past (watch Ms. Puff Theory if you haven't). As for the Principal, great reaction 👌 I think you haven't reacted to the very first boating school episode yet? So you should do that and then the episode "Doing Time" and that's that for Ms Puff I think 👍

Can you please react to the Spongebob episode "Rock-A-Bye Bivalve"? I know that it isn't school related, per-say, but it reminds me of something I had to do for Home Ec class. Also, there are some school-related episodes of "The Ghost and Molly McGee" that you have to check out, starting with episode 1b "First Day Frights", and ending with "Home is Where the Haunt Is". If you do so, other fans will point out the school-related episodes in between.

I would talk to the teacher in private about appropriate extra credit and about the student’s academic performance in general. However, I also feel that if I have stuff going on at school that is happening in SpongeBob SquarePants, I have bigger problems! 😂😂😂
