I don't know if anyone caught this but we named a couple of the characters after members of the Studio C team. Dave Vance is the writer that wrote the Hunger Games Musical and International Relations along with other amazing sketches. Chad is one of the guys that does PR/Marketing for us... and Jared Mayne is a mix of our producer Jared Shores and our Production Manager Diane Mayne. #EasterEggs

if they were friends in highschool the criminal would most likely just realize what has become of them due to seeing an old friend as the polar opposite. That's an eye opening experience. Do you know that clip of the female judge who went to the same class as a guy she was about to judge? The guy broke down and cried. I think he'd either try to run or give himself up. I doubt a lot would actually be so far down in the abyss that they would shoot their friend. Edit: Just realized the comment is a bit old. I hope you don't mind that I replied anyway :D
