As much as I like you for advertising our autobahn ..for all who wanna try please start slowly and stick to your own limits as well as absolutely double check mirrors all the time and stick to the right lane drive system. That's important especially when not used to drive on the autobahn.

@@supercarsofgothamakabrucew2148 Some buy for holding value, others buy because they want the item. I for one have never purchased a single thing considering "depreciation". If I feel it is worth the price when I buy it, and I can afford it, and I want it.... I buy it. But there is a solution to this for those who do worry about depreciation... hold off and buy it used. Also some folks buy to collect, and others buy to drive. I am always amazed seeing cars designed to drive, being trophies in a collection and seldom used as intended. It is like buying whiskey to collect, vs buying to drink. Guess which type I am in that as well? ;) Cheers.

I think the Vanquish is one of the most beautiful cars on the road today. There are more "striking" looking cars but this is beautiful. Keep living the automotive dream mate..it looks like a blast! On a side note, how much of the Autobahn is derestricted?

the entire distance of Germany's Autobahn network had reached 13.000 Kilometers by 2016. Over 50% of it is derestricted, but not always in long stretches.

don't get me wrong, but we (I) live here in Germany. To obtain a German driving licence - that includes tuition and examination (the test) on the Autobahn engagement - costs a shit load of cash. The theoretical exam is tough too. Now we're slowly seeing more and more youtube car freaks from the UK with pink licences obtained on the island that also do not include even UK motorway tuition (for what that's worth at 70mph). For over 50 years we know how to engage properly and safely at high speed and strictly according to the StVO, and drive with that modus day in day out. I'd rather the PUBLIC roads, specifically the Autobahnen, are not used for snap speed orgies by sporadic youtube tourists once in a while. It's not a theme park newly discovered by youtube tourist car freaks. These recordings are right where I live i.e. the A5 near Frankfurt heading north (and south too) which I drive up and down as well, and have done since the 80s, every day, i.e. do and have done for 30 years. My young daughter now drives up and down the A5 (among other Autobahnen too) daily. I'll be hellishly pissed off if she gets rammed by a tourist on a quick trip to Germany to test out what can't be done elsewhere and that without any daily experience if high speed driving and certainly no knowledge of the StVO. Tourist have no idea how to engage properly at high speed, when to resist it (due to the configuration of a cluster of vehicles at a given speed ahead) and what break fading means in terms of rapidly reduced retardation etc. I really don't like this idea of inviting people from around the world to "come here for a rip down the Autobahn" as if this were some sort of newly discovered theme park. Invitations to the Nürburgring are fair enough, that's a closed circuit for a rip around at any speed, not the public Autobahn where we have so far enjoyed high speed driving with years of experience and adhering to the strict rules of such activity on such roads here here. ... Not impressed. Dangerous advice.

AlternativeDesign100 yes people Need to understand that german young people dont just get in a car and drive 300km/h on the autobahn from day 1. It is a thing that needs experience. Germans are used to the speeds most of the times, but as someone who is used to Drive 110 Max, you shouldnt see this as a "fun thing to do"... You put yourself and others at a high risk. Being a german myself i hate to see "foreign countrymen" ripping down the streets because i know how dangerous it can be if you dont know the "rules of the Autobahn"

"Highways" with no speed limits? Highways are not Autobahnen. The rules and regulations differ from country to country, in some instances radically. A highway isn't an Autobahn, and an Autobahn isn't an Autostrada, and an Autostrada isn't a UK Motorway etc. I presume you realise that too, or what are you getting at? Brake fading, for example, is something no one else around the globe experiences on their respective "highways"... once you've experienced that you approach situations very differently... just as an example.

People should just stick to tracks or drag strips if they want to go fast. This highway is beyond dangerous. what if someone crashed into a car with kids in doing over 100....that’s two dead kids that didn’t get to do anything with their lives all cause someone wanted to impress their mates. Just limit it to average speed it would put a lot less people at risk....

I totally agree with you, I m from Italy and drove all over the world and notice that especially drivers with a strict speed limit in their country cannot drive in a fast environment, they simply have no experience whatsoever. Plus speed tourism its not a wise choice, rent a track and go there.

Me and a mate have just got back from a roadtrip which took in the autobahns over two days. The traffic and roadworks were the worst we've seen out of the 4 trips we've done. Did manage to hit 180 in the end also.

If you want to flat out a car the autobahn a81 between stuttgart an singen(lake constanz) is mostly unrestricted and low traffic especially on sunday mornings :) we hit yesterday with a mercedes c250 diesel 244km/h xD

This is the last real AM with its unique exhaust sounds which is gone by the new AM with benz engines do not get wrong the new AM is great look great upgrade in tech inside but they uses of amg engine on db11 dbs and vantage it make AM unique engine and exhaust sounds vanish which a bit make sad cause i love old AM exhaust sounds like this vanquish s and if had one i will never sale it 💐😎

1990Ravens start slowly. Germans are used to the speed of cars that overtake you very fast. I think most people who didn't grow up with this just underestimate how quick a car passes you when at 180mph. You'll think it's still 300m behind you but going more than double of your speed it'll be there pretty soon.
