Hi! all you need to do is trace the upper left corner of you front pattern where the pocket usually is, to another paper like so @4:52 The 1" I took out from waistline is to make a gap of the pocket from the side seam of the pant. The 6.5" is the opening of the pocket, it will all make sense once you assemble all the pieces together ❤

If my waist is 1/4 of 6 1/2 so in each leg in waist less 1.5 inch from left and 1/2 inch from right so where will the dart go there is no fabric left

Hello!! You're welcome!❤ I would suggest to follow a tutorial specifically for men. And as for the back waist line the 1.5 is not the standard it's my personal preference since I wanted it to be super high waisted! 🙂

Hi! the waist line is where you mark your waist circumference/measurements by dividing it into 4 and add 4 -6 inches for the pleats!🙂

At the beginning of the process @0.17 draw 2 lines that meets together, a horizontal line which is going to be the length and the vertical line which is going to be the waist line where we mark the waist measurement (divided by 4 plus 4" for pleats)🙂 hope I answered your question!

Please explain if my hip circumference is 49in inches i have to added 6inches 49+6then divided by 4 or i have to divide hip circumference by 4 then added6 inches which one is correct

Hi! Divide your hip Circumference first and then add the 6", so 49÷4=12.25 12.25+6=18.25 will be your hip Circumference Pls note that the 6" is just my own preference so you could add more to that or less depending on how wide you want it to be!

Nope, no need to make a pattern for the waistband, cut it right away on the fabric with your preferred measurements, you can watch the whole process on the third part of this video😊 super easy!

What is the length and width of crotch line

Since we have different body types, measurement will be different for everyone, to get the Crotch Depth or length is to sit down straight in a chair and measure from your waist down to the chair as explained with illustration at 0:39 - 0:43 , to get the width add 2" to your hipline measurement ( at 1:27). The explanation is good but it's really confusing at some point (=✖ᆽ✖=). Could you pease help me in the following areas..Is it half inch from the waistline then go up half and inch Or? And should I add the hip circumference with the ease allowance then divide it from 4 (for example 31+6 ÷4 = 10.25) or divide the hip circumference with 4 then add the ease allowance (for example 32÷4 +6 =14.75) ? and should the pleat length be 2 inch?.Would be really grateful if you could please clear this up for me 🥺

Hi! Sorry to get back to you late I have not read your comment until today 😔. On your first question about the waistline, I'm not sure what you are asking,but if you are asking about the waist band then it is 1 1/2 inches down from the first drawn line. For your 2nd question, your normal hip Circumference PLUS the ease allowance(6" in my case) then divide the total into 4. The pleat is 2 inches wide each and 1 and a half inch apart. The length does not matter. I hope this helps! Sorry again!❤
