Great job on the video ! Really like the music and the shots from above. Assume your using a drone with GPS Hover capability. Beautiful, Beautiful country, I went to Australia several times in the 70', loved your country and the Beautiful, Friendly women and Men ! Lol. To old now to have you worry about the ladies but I'd love to come down there again and carry away some of your Gold. 😂😉 Keep up the channel, I'll be watchin' ! 😉😁😎

Thanks for watching mate. I use a drone in some vids that has gps hover plus other sensors to help. I actually accidentally took it for a swim a few months back. Not good, haha. It is a lovely area down here in Aus, im not going to deny that. 😂 Thanks for the support

Great video West, I especially like the drone footage and love the 'now you see me, now you don't' with the waders. You earned that gold after the dramas with the shovel, well done.

Great work mate, I had the same problem with the bubbles in our high banker about 10 years back. We came up with a broom head mounted at the top of the mat the hair draws up the air and forces the material down under it worked well. Cheers for sharing.
@highcountryoutdoors49295 жыл бұрын
Oh i see, the broom is a great idea. I'll do some testing with a mat then try the broom head. Thanks heaps!

Probably the best tape i have ever seen. You went to a lot of effort and the result was as good as stuff David Attenborough produces. I wish you get rewarded for your efforts. Your mum should be very proud of you.

Great production value mate, I had 5 broken shovels down the creek here. Ha ha. Get a steel handled Trojan from bunnings, I'm a big bloke and I can't break them, so good I bought 2. Cheers mate.
@highcountryoutdoors49295 жыл бұрын
I was actually looking at shovels in bunnings yesterday. Can buy a new shovel cheaper than a new handle. I will have a new one before next highbanking trip. Thanks 👍

Nice finds and cool setup mate. I hate that nsw fossicking laws have made highbankers illegal. I'm still new to this hobby and learning a lot from blokes such as yourself. Cheers 🍺🍺
@highcountryoutdoors49295 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. I agree NSW laws are out of control! Get yourself a bucket sieve and a good river sluice and you can still move some material. Cheers for the sub

@@highcountryoutdoors4929 cheers mate🍺. I purchased myself a 10" gold rat about a month ago. Still need to get myself a better detector. I've been using my old man's vintage whites coinmaster 6000 lol it's seen better days and is bloody heavy. Tossing up between a minelab gold monster 1000 or Fisher gold bug pro. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy the rest of your week mate
@highcountryoutdoors49295 жыл бұрын
Perfect sluice, i love the gold rat products. I support Aussie where i can. Im still learning the Gm1000 but love it so far, would recommend it. Busted Knuckles has some good vids on how to set it up. For $1000 i wouldnt pick another detector.
@auroo6665 жыл бұрын
@@highcountryoutdoors4929 I always like to support the aussie made gear 🤟😃 The GM 1000 will be on my shopping list after the Christmas break. It's a big step up from the old-school whites CM6000 lol Cheers mate 🍺🍺

When you fire up your highbanker you need a brush to go over your dream matte and that will get rid of the bubbles
@highcountryoutdoors49294 жыл бұрын
Ive got a rubber mat i use now to stop a lot of the bubbles. In some of my later highbanking vids
@targetrock60725 жыл бұрын
Probably already got a new shovel by now but I use a fiskar shovel all metal and has a flat spot to push down and makes it easier on the foot. Amazon carries it for about 15.00. oh and life time gaurantee! Never have a broken handle again 👍
@highcountryoutdoors49295 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, i looked at the fiskars as i have a few of their axes. Good bits of gear!!! I settled on an all steel version, just a bit cheaper. Thanks mate ⚒

These old timers like to see a little spirt and conviction as far as I can tell. Do your dilligance and stay your ground. Unless dilligance takes you else where. I like sniping the high country. I love the Australian Outback. Keep it up mate.
