That Liquid Smoke is an awesome product - you don’t need much and it makes suuuuuuuuch a difference. My daughter dumps it into chilli as well but the first thing I used it on and now can’t make without, is LENTIL BURGERS. Trust me... give it a go everyone. One bottle lasts ages! The only brand my local cheap grocery store has is “Colgin” Hickory Smoke flavour - betcha sixpence your store carries it too :)

That trick with noodles is fantastic. I add cooked spaghetti to the sauce and that keeps them moist and separated. It’s then basically a ready meal.

I will make the bean chili for sure. Ill freeze it and use the packets as ice packs for traveling. As long as it’s frozen it’s TSA friendly & makes a perfect healthy meal once I arrive. 💚
@malaplava48652 жыл бұрын
Tip for reducing a soaking bean time is to rinse your beans add cool water to your pot and tablespoon of baking soda. Cook for 20-30 minutes. Rinse again and cook to finish in instant pot with seasoning, veggies etc. ❤

How do you determine what recipes to sale and which ones should be free? My reason for asking is because I'm a new food blogger and I create recipes. But I'm overwhelmed with what should go in ebooks and what should be posted for free.

Cooking dry beans with an acid like tomatoes will slow down the cooking a lot, they would be more flavorful and softer with just water and salt.

I wonder if the cooking time for dry beans depends on the type of instant pot you have or how much you are cooking at once? I cook the equivalent of 2 cans of beans from dry without soaking in the IP for 35 minutes and they’re cooked all the way through. I’ve done this with multiple different types of beans.

I always love your lazy recipes and I eat the same things over and over too. I hope your garden is doing ok. I had a summer job watching someone's garden and it was rough watching everything struggle in the AZ heat. Do your plants in the garage greenhouse stay cool enough with your big water jugs in there? Are you still using that method?

Hi Hannah😸 I'm so glad you're still in KZbin, sharing your recipes and such! I was a big fan several years ago and watched religiously, lol. Then my son passed away unexpectedly (he was 19) and I found myself preferring to be alone with my thoughts. I watched your Ayahuasca trip and I found the playlist on SoundCloud that you posted...the music REALLY HELPED ME. For some reason I cannot find it anymore and I REALLY want to hear one of the songs. I also can't remember the artists name. But...can you list the artists that were on that playlist? I'd be forever grateful! And I'm glad I looked you up today because I think I'll get a couple of your books that are on sale. My sister and my daughter are also big fans of yours. They have Instagram and Facebook and other social media stuff, but I don't...so it's KZbin for me. I prefer it because I get to choose what I'm interested in and I don't get random bs that I don't like to look at, hear, and yada yada. Anyway....again...SO HAPPY TO FIND YOU AGAIN!!! 💅😃🌞

I'm a chili lover also, because of all the variety of vegetables you can add, I use sweet potatoes as well. And, a rare treat of HCH seldom seen, a real laugh on camera! I would have loved to see their dog eat the cucs. We use to have a dog that raided the veg gardens When we had a corn roast, or was going to have a corn roast. Corn went missing Bingo was hiding them when we were busy with other things. and didn't catch him in the act.

Chili? Of course ... lazy cooking? My kind of cooking. Never tried soaking beans so that would be new. Those spring rolls would be a first, never tried that 🤔 thougn Id swap sauces (not a fan of peanut sauces). I am curious about this "light tamari"; I've only ever seen "tamari" at grocery stores, are there different kinds? Interesting dressing too. I could happily cook much less in a week I admit 😂 I work in an office 9 hrs plus 90 minutes of driving so that doesn't burn much energy.
