I love that your sauce recipe book is only $10. I feel like a lot of vegans are like ‘hey, go vegan. We know you have no clue how to cook this way. But you can pay $40 for my cookbook that only has 20 recipes!’ Because 20 recipes is enough to keep me going as a vegan? Thank you for making this affordable. I’ve been trying to slowly incorporate more vegan means and this videos helps so so much!

I just bought it and I very rarely buy ecookbooks. It’s because sauces are the key to tasty vegan food. I don’t want to make faux meats and anything complicated. With sauces, all you need to eat are various combinations of beans, tofu, rice, pasta and veggies. And this comes from someone who has been vegan for 20 years and owns literally 100 vegan cookbooks.

Keep giving up animal products one at a time. I didn't give up every animal product all at once. Also introduce vegetables and fruits you haven't tried. Take into account any allergies you have if any. Check out resources such as the Veganaury website and others such as the Vegan Society, PETA and other animal rights organisations. You could watch Cowspiracy, Earthlings for the Ethics behind veganism. For health Watch What the Health.

Thank you for this video. My son was diagnosed with heart failure and he is finding strength and hope with the Vegan and plant based diet. I like that you don’t add a lot of salt and you use spices. Question could you do a video about how you get protein in you diet? And not through processed artificial meats. He doesn’t eat any processed foods. Thanks 🙏 again.

Hi, Hannah! I enjoyed this video and just now made the red lentil dish. I am making it in the crock pot since I don't have an insta pot. Thank you for the recent Trader Joe video. I don't live near one either but made this trip and got a lot of the things you suggested. The frozen mango is really good! Just to let you know that your videos are really helping me and have been watching for a long time. Went vegan 3 years ago for health reasons. I may have to get a transplant and veganism is helping me change my life and giving me more time with my family. Wish I knew about this way of eating a long time ago. Love all your videos. Blessings to you and Derek.

I tried the lentils! So just in case anyone was wondering, they are delicious. They have very noticeable sweet after taste that blends well with the spicy and savory. Just a few changes, I used a little pink Himalayan salt, and for some reason 2 cups of water wasn't enough... When I make split pea with dry peas it calls for 6 cups Oh, I thought it was weird the lentils wouldn't, but when I put two cups my instant pot basically told me to add more water. I put six cups total Plus 6 teaspoons of vegan bullion to go with each cup of water. And I added a poblano pepper and jalapeno pepper it was delish! loved the hummus with it!

I am really enjoying your videos and am slowing making my way to the vegan lifestyle for the past 3 days. Today I had mushroom tacos with tons of veggies. And can not wait til tomorrow to use the rest to make your burrito bowl
