Also, I can't believe how transparent and open she is about her food and fitness. So many social media folks get busted for lying and Hannah is one that's been doing this for YEARS and has been completely up front about everything. I appreciate her so much. I'm not even fully vegan, but she's my go to for balancing my meals with less animal products ❤️

Thanks for promoting the high carb, low fat lifestyle all these years. This is the only healthy, plant-based diet that has worked for me long-term -- 14 years. Kudos to Dr. John McDougall, and Hannah, for continuing to inspire people about the health benefits of HCLF!

You have been one of my biggest inspirations. I have lost a lot of weight during this month of October. (186 to 174.) Recently I'm having issues with my kidney transplant of 5 years and my weight gain since the pandemic had a lot to do with it. So now I'm on a mission to cure myself. I don't know what I would have done without you. You completely changed my life and this is only the beginning. Thank you so much.

satisfaction and fullness does not only come from how full your stomach is but from the signal moleculs that come in response to energy absorbtion. Adding healthy fats will make you feel satisfied longer and will also give your body the essential component for absorbing vital nutrients.

Yes!!! 👏 I tried HCLF for years but it wasn't sustainable for me. I always felt hungry a couple hours after. I needed more fat and protein!

@@leanavine i guess everyone is different. I did the starch solution many years ago, and I would feel stuffed but never really satisfied with the meal. Adding in more protein and fat helped with the satisfaction.

I have been following you for years, I never could find a way for me to stick to it. I am not sure if you know, but there is a program called Noom that follows exactly wat you teach about calorie density, and so far it seems to be extremely helpful in the tracking and guidance department. I wouldn't have started this program if I had not already understood the concept from you. So thank you very much!

Im really struggling with my sweet tooth at the moment and wanting to eat vegan cookies 😬 think I'm going to have to just not have anything like that in the house, much to my kids disgust I'm sure lol. Im constantly craving sugar especially with my busy lifestyle, guess I need to fill up on all the good stuff so I'm not as tempted.
@autumnrain79182 жыл бұрын
You could try making some vegan desserts that are more plant based, like if you are craving pie- make baked apples with oat crumble and cinnamon. Cookies- make some energy balls with dates, oats, nuts and spices. For me, fresh fruit tends to satisfy snacks, but not desserts, but when you cook it and add a little bit of something more substantial, it gets it. So, adding a few chocolate chips to my oatmeal, making a vanilla sauce to go with a poached pear, making a crumble to go on top of some stewed berries, etc. I hope you find something that helps!

Also, try banana oat cookies. I add raspberries to the center of mine!
