These men are much stronger than body builders who could NEVER perform these physical feats. I have been training in martial arts for 41 years and would hate to be bulkier than what I am. Your own body weight is more than enough to become extremely fit and strong as can be seen here.
@TGRHazard110 жыл бұрын
If they had the same weight they wouldn't be able to do it themself. They 2014 Mr.Olympia weight 280 pounds. Jay Cutler weight is around 290. I can do push and pull ups, but if I was 280 - 290 I wouldn't. You are comparing two things that don't go together. Also Kali muscle is 260 and can do muscle up like they are nothing.

I started back in August, not so much to be like these guys, but to just get in shape. I could only do one pull-up on my first day... barely. Today, for the very first time, I got all of my 5 sets of 5 WIDE-GRIP pull-ups! I started at 168lbs, a big ol' beer-belly, and skinny everywhere else. Today, I'm 178lbs and I finally have abs again, and for the 1st time in my life, I actually have some muscle! I'm proud of myself... this is coming from one of the worst procrastinators ever to exist. It has been a very difficult journey, but I've stuck with it. I'm stronger, leaner, and happier than I've ever been. I remember watching this video when I first started, and it's so cool to look back and see how far I've come. Thanks for posting this and inspiring folks. I'm NOT EVEN CLOSE to what these guys do, but that's why I put in the work, to be like 'em. You can, too. Get up and get to feeling good about yourself, friends!

200lbs and been lifting weights off and on for 7 years. I used to laugh at guys who did bodyweight exercises only and assume they did it because they had shitty genetics and could never get big so this is what they do instead. I came across this video and it spiked my interest. Its been about 2 months of calisthenics and the results are unreal. Its been hard because of starting at 200lbs but I'm getting there. My bench has gone up 50 pounds and all other lifts have gone up substantially. I find myself lifting less and less weights now though. The amount of progress you make with calisthenics is crazy and I feel like I wasted so much time by not incorporating it in my workouts before. I can't wait to pass the bar brothers advanced test and working my ass off to get there.
@iliveinsideyourhouse39433 жыл бұрын
"assume they did it because they shitty genetics" that's a weird way of thinking lol. Most people who only do calisthenics only is because they're broke and can't afford lots of equipment. Likes me.

it's considered a success in their fitness journey. Success is not only based from money,job etc.
@ofallmyintention94969 жыл бұрын
+XelPixels There are different ways to 'succeed'.....You pick on another person's perception, but by default, you would thus have your own. Are you also implying that you do know what success means, definitively?--I really just don't see your point of pride and youth here, I guess.
@Hgkbukk9 жыл бұрын
The pride is what these people have, considering themselves more successful than those who visit the gym simply to do a few sets. Creating a strong body is nothing compared to succeeding in other areas in life such as job, relationships and personalities. Gym takes determination, life takes it all.
@ofallmyintention94969 жыл бұрын
That's right: you can't compare them--thus was my original point. No matter what plausible explanation you can come up with to try and convince yourself anything one person holds dear is better or less meaningful than what you hold dear, it will make no difference to anyone but yourself. When I was younger, I believed that I thought I knew what I was talking about, too. It's okay.

I want to buy a pull up bar or something cuz there is no where to work out like that... i think working out with your own body makes you strong as shit.. fuck pulling weights... if it comes down to a fight, this kind of excercise will make you a better fighter.. and that's the only reason i want muscles... a: in case i need them due to a fight b: they look good. Pulling weights doesn't make you hit stronger or use gravity and balance against somebody. Doing this, does. This is "real" fitness.

jarred stuart they actually dont want weights thats why its called CALISTHENICS you smartass
@greenbeast46489 жыл бұрын
Ryder Sku Then no need for a weighted vest, if and only if that is the case. Calisthenics calls strictly for body weight than adding outside weight. Body builders and weight lifters add weight to their bar workouts because that is considered to be weight training. With that said, no need to assume this video is on pure calisthenics. Isn't that suppose to be the whole point of this video? To burn fat and tone without using weights there. BUT with Calisthenics it's 60% toning, 30% body weight strength building, and 10% muscle building (without weights). So who is the smart-ass now? Review the video when they show the vest in some clips.

This isn't exactly crossfit. I doubt average crossfitters can do what they've shown in this video. And it is in no way easy. You must be out of your mind to think so.

dylanmo91 Wow, much tough internet kid. But seriously though, if you're going to waste my time, at least use proper English. That virgin copy-pasta you threw down; 'dat shit gets dropped by 12 year olds (like yourself) all day, every day. "punk bitch behind a computer screen" The irony of your butt-hurt insults continues to build. Just walk away, you'll just keep on embarrassing yourself. While you're at it, lay off the Runescape videos; that trash died off years ago, get with the times.
