@ 14:43 i know everyone is saying Knight is hanging but i think the write move for black is D5 not D6, and white can Enpassant or take with the other pawn and then bishop can move to F5,

Played this today for the first time against an opponent (otb) and it worked so well! Amazing video. Thank you! Going to keep playing it, learning it and refining it. My opponent didn't take E5 pawn initially so i played C5 to force a move - wasn't perfect because black bishop was more limited but still flexible enough to work well after removing some kingside defenders.
@projectryan8811 жыл бұрын
The first trap you spoke about (1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e5 3.dxe5 Ng4 4.Qd5 Nc6 5.f4 Nb4 6.Qe4 Bc5 7.e3 Bxe3 8.Bxe3 Nxe3) You are correct, the knight is not able to be captured because of the fork on c2, but white can play 9.Na3 and it's rather drawish, in fact white might even have a slight advantage, It's best if you do not take on e3 on move 7 and, instead castle kingside 7.0-0 Thanks for uploading this video though, i like this opening very much, glad to see some other people have success using it too

Many of the traps mentioned early in the video are very similar to his Tennison Gambit video. Dirty chess tricks to win fast 3 (Tennison Gambit) | I guess the Tennison Gambit has many of the same traps as the Budapest Gambit and Englund Gambit, because it is the same opening, but from the white perspective.

I played this opening religiously for about a year and a half until I recently switched it up, I remember I had trouble with early Qd4 and Qd5 lines. Nice to learn a few side traps here. I'm learning some Old Benoni to mix it up, but these lines are important to keep in mind.

Instead of d6 which is an error, black should play d5. Now Q can not take the N at e4. And the rest of the moves hold good if white plays exd6 e.p. And if white plays cxd5, black can play Qxd5. Or may be GJ_chess can show some tricks in that line. I can never guess his tricks some how and am always surprised when he announces the game as lost or won.

4:20 What about Ne3? then you will also get the Queen also or? He has to move the Queen maybe B3 then you could check him with Bb4 after he take your bishop you can checkmate him with the Queen. If he takes the night, instead of moving the Queen you can easily checkmate him with Bg3.

Hi GJ_Chess Thank you for your Wonderful Job, I'm always watching your videos, but in this one i have a Notes.......... in minute 14:25 .. Second trap after 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e5 3.dxe5 Ne4 4.Qc2 Bb4+ 5.Nd2 d6 then you mention the move 6. exd6 (this is a mistake) because the white Queen will capture Knight at e4 6.QxNe4 easily .........and the White has advantage here the other Note is in the same variation after 6.exd6 Bf5 7.Qa4+ Nc6 8.a3 Nc5 9.dxc7 Qe7 10.Qb5 a6 11.Qb6 and this move is another mistake here....because the White can easily play 11.axb4 if Black play 11..... axb5 then White goes 12.Rxa8+ .... and no advantage to black here, it's look equal Thank you

I watched many times but then I noticed something at 16:13 White pawn takes black bishop and black pawn can't take the queen or it's good night. Black loses advantage by attacking the queen with a6. May I suggest Bc2 to force white to head off the check mate then it's bishop to attack the queen from a4 There is still game to be played but black will nab that white queen. Black is winning but white could make things uncomfortable if they push those pawns well.
@greatguy20011 жыл бұрын

I play this gambit all the time as black. No matter how highly rated my opponent, they just are not ready for this, because they don't see it that often. At best, they come out a pawn down, with a screwed up position. I have played this gambit against the same player 8 times, and I am 8-0. Every time he thinks he has it figured out, he falls for the next trap.

I won't lie this video helped me out. But You are playing this in the perspective of white only defending. There are many things white could've done to attack and win the game. There were times when white could've checked the black king on a4 and take the black bishop on b4. And where white could have took the bishop then check him with the white pawn taking the f7 pawn then check the king with the white Queen on d5. There were times when white could have completely turn the tables Still great game and thank you for sharing.

Qa4+ can be blocked by Nc6 which supports the bishop at b4. So white is only helping black to develop a piece.

Hello GJ_Chess, I have a question. In this video at 16:15 afte black pawn attack white queen by playing a6. Why white can't just take the bishop a:b4. Now black can't take white queen because they will lose both rooks: ... a:b5 Rxa8+ Kd6 Rxh8 threatening taking queen on c8 or capturing the knight on c5. Thanks, Alex.
