Mama told me, when I was young, Come sit beside me, my only son. And listen closely to what I say And if you do this it'll help you some sunny day. Take your time, don't live too fast. Troubles will come and they will pass. You'll find a slut toy. Yeah you'll find love. And don't forget son, there is someone up above. -Ecclestriles 90:12

This reminds me of my brother in law. When I first met him, he lived in a squat, was fresh out of college and selling socks at the market. In 10 years (after a few business failures, he hit big) and he was worth over 28 million USD. The whole family went on holiday and I had the opportunity to observe him more closely and began to see why he had became so successful: As we had arrived at the hotel late, we all went to bed. He said he was going to the bar for one drink. The next morning, at breakfast everyone knew him and said Hi as he passed. He was friendly, funny and quite unassuming - he also spoke to people as if they knew a lot more than him and he learnt something from them. This I found out was an act, as I saw his holiday reading material - he had all the latest business magazines, books etc. In addition to his fantastic people skills, despite his early business failures, he never complained, he moved on and always, always knew he would make it and be rich.

@@Bambotb It was an internet based business - this was in the early 2000's. It really began when walking down the street on his way to a meeting, he asked a passing man his way to a particular building. The man told him and asked him why he was going there - he told him that he had a business proposal. The man was intrigued, introduced himself (he was the owner of a rival company) and that morning they agreed to go into partnership together.

@@TwilightMoon113 Yes it's all true. He experienced years of business failure though - he started with a market stall, then a clothes shop, then two cafes (one he spent thousands on refurbishing, but couldn't open as he was unable to obtain the right license). He also opened a nightclub for a short while. They were either failures or moderate successes. He then saw an opportunity connected with the internet and his fortune came. As I said before, I never saw him bitter or angry at his failures, he just knew he was going to be very rich one day. I believe that this certainly led him to that serendipitous meeting that day.

Sometimes I think if individuals spent the time they had being envious working on their achievements & goals, they would be more successful. When one is successful, no one will be able to take your place, no matter how hard someone may try. Then there are others that ride on the back of others because they can't make it on their own & need others to help them. However, what happens when the person whose back you are tryna ride on pushes you off? One has to get back up on their own. No one wants to carry a person on their back forever. When one is capable of working at success on their own, they don't need to ride on others backs. That is the same with using popularity, as an example. You can hang around someone for their popularity & status, but as soon as that popular & status oriented person leaves, so will the popularity & status. I have seen it many times. One should work for what they want & not expect others to give it to them. Easy come easy go. If one gains things easily, they can just as easily lose it, too.

One thing I learned is that suffering and pain are like seeds that you plant which you later sow. Every single disgusting, uncomfortable and or brutal experience I have went through brought back massive dividends down the road. Sometimes as long as 2-3 years. The matter of the fact is that you have to get out there and get your ass kicked, get up and get it kicked again. Slowly you'll get resilient and learn how to kick ass yourself.

If you die tonight, do you know where you're going? Did you know that Jesus Christ is THE Truth, the life and the only way to Heaven? Revelation 20:15 ''Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.'' Through Jesus Christ, God offers you a FREE gift - forgiveness. All you need to do is repent, turn away from your sins and evil ways, from now on put your faith completely in Jesus Christ and be obedient to Him. Biblical explanation of the Gospel: God doesn’t want anybody in hell, but you must understand why we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go there. He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). God gave us free will and since Adam sinned in the garden, sin is the nature of our flesh and we ALL have sinned. (Romans 3:23) The law demands death to those who sin (Romans 6:23). Since we have all sinned, we all deserve hell. Revelation 21:8 says that all liars will go to hell. Yes, even if you have lied once in your life, you are sentenced to hell - that's how high God's standards are of moral perfection because God is holy and righteous, there is not one sin in Him. For someone to be justified before holy God they have to be sinless, that's why everyone need Jesus Christ - for He lived a sinless life, died on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day. None of us are good in God’s eyes, because for God good means moral perfection. We all have broken God’s commandments, we all have sinned in our lives so none of us are good. ‘’For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.’’ (James 2:10). Our carnal mind is hostile to God; it does not submit to God's moral law and it never will (Romans 8:7). We hate the thought of God for the same reason a criminal hates a policeman - we know we have sinned against God and are guilty of it and we don't want to be damned. No good works will ever save you. You can't earn salvation by good works, because God will judge us for our sin. Good News is that Jesus Christ lived a perfect, holy, sinless life and He died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried and He was raised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.’’ (John 3:16) We aren’t saved by our good works, but only by the grace of God through faith in Christ. ''For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Jesus said ‘’it is finished’’ (John 19:30) just before He died on the cross, which means He paid the fine for our sins (past, present, future) to be forgiven only IF we repent and trust in Him. This is how you can get saved from sin and hell - repent of your sins and trust in Jesus Christ. Get to know Him by reading God's Word. So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.” (Luke 11:13) ''What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!'' (Romans 6:15) ''Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out'' (Acts 3:19) Repentance is a turning away from sin and all evil works, and it always results in changed behavior (Luke 3:8). Biblically, a person who repents does not continue willfully in sin. While sorrow from sin is not equivalent to repentance, it is certainly an element of scriptural repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). Do not play a hypocrite. ''God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.'' (1 John 1:5-6) (John 3:3) Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." If you have repented and have genuine faith in Jesus Christ then you will receive the gift of Holy Spirit and be born-again spiritually. When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession - to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14) Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36) ''You will know them by their fruits'' (Matthew 7) If you have been truly born-again with the Holy Spirit and He has regenerated your heart, you will desire righteousnes - to do what is good and righteous in God's eyes, to seek God everyday in His Word and prayer, to strengthen your relationship with God. You will no longer desire to willfully continue living in sin but will want to obey God out of your love for Him because of His amazing grace revealed to us through the death and resurrection of His Son. ''Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.'' (2 Corinthians 5:17) ''For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.'' (Eph 2:10) You will have a testimony - of what your life had been before and how has it changed now when you have surrendered it to Lord Jesus Christ. As a declaration and affirmation of your faith in Jesus Christ, get baptised in water because He commanded us to do so. In John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.'' ''Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit'' (Matthew 28:19) ''Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.'' (Acts 2:41) ''And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also - not the removal of dirt from the body, but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God - through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,'' (1 Peter 3:21) ''We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.'' (Romans 6:4) ''Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.'' (Colossians 2:12) Please get right with God and get to know Jesus Christ personally today before it’s too late, because there’s not much time left! "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.’’ (Mark 13:32) Get to know Christ through God's Word - Bible. At first I recommend reading Gospel of John and book of Romans. God bless you! Jeremiah 29:13 - ''You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.''

That seems more like projection combined with paranoia , for there is absolutely no way to determine someone may be acting dumb for sure - from a first encounter that is - unless one can read minds or one party has uncovered unbeknownst knowledge about the other party. That or the two people have a history. But you forgot to consider if the other party - whether or not there is a history - should realize in the encounter the jig is up , when trying to play dumb that is , the affair has been neutralized ( nel nel ) and then a battle of wits ensues from which the victor still remains to be seen among the one who senses the other is playing dumb and the one playing dumb senses he has been figured out.

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. I've always kept quiet. You want to win an argument, no the truth, know the facts. Don't let anyone lie to you. It works for me and reflected many people in my life from pulling the wool over my eyes. Much thanks to my mother for this. She always taught me not to stand for anyone giving you a line of crap. She was good at catching lies. Then Jesus showed me knowledge I've never know. How to use lies to find truths in others, that they are truly hurting inside. 90% of the time, they just need love. I was the most angry, confrontational ma I've ever know. Still have a horrible tongue, also I can give thanks to my mother. But I also give thanks to Jesus for my mother. Regardless of how hard it was. Jesus was always there. Always. And he's there for you too. Don't refuse Jesus, he loves you.

I have been no angel but there’s comes a time in life where you just want good. That’s all.

@@user-Magdalene I know. That's just how I feel. Everything seems to flood you especially when hidden pains of the past come to the surface. I've been through hell and back in my childhood, from an alcoholic, angry mother to excessive sex abuse, no father. Everyone who I thought loved me betrayed me. All I ever wanted was some good in my life for once. Love. I know exactly what that's like. And yes, many get caught in the crossfire and children usually are the ones to get caught. I hope some day you find your peace I know this is hard for some, a touchy subject, but I never had faith in Jesus most of my life. When I accepted him, my life wasn't easier, it's hard for sure. But the knowledge I've learned couldn't compare to the 30+years of therapy I went through. The people he's put in my life I've never had that truly helped me. I hope you can find the courage and strength to seek him. You are never too far gone. All soul's belong to God and should not perish or be condemned, but saved and loved by Jesus. Our pain on this earth is a testament to how love prevails all and why we need it. Our pain teaches us how to take care of those people in such a crossfire. To be their shield when no one could be one for us. To be a tongue for those who find it hard to speak. I will pray for you, take care of yourself. I know it's hard, but it can get better.

@Jack Daniels ...and most importantly? They were/are ready to push things to a level most bosses wouldn't consider. And their partners knew that. That's what made them as effective as they were. Call it what you will, intelligence alone won't bring you that amount of power. Only the readinness to take that "extra" criminal step. Btw, that's a common trait with all criminal bosses, not just Italian. In my home country, things are the same. And more or less? They are the same everywhere, where people have strong traditionalism in place. If that makes sense.

@Jack Daniels you won't get the feeling about Eastern Europe and Ukraine specifically if you don't encounter with high-level people (typically, those are people in power like politicians, who are 99% of them criminals, who came as a result of a violent riot in 2014). For ordinary people, the country is safe and traditionally European-like. Just don't mess with the authorities.

I have no respect for using children as bait and rewarding compliance of your enemy with an unlimited supply of kids to abuse. That was my dad's job and those types, with that weakness end up having to sell their own kids into exploitation in exchange for access to other people's kids and a means to stay out of prison. Such low lifes, there are so many ways to compromise your enemy that don't involve child abuse. The italian mafia got real dirty trafficking in kids, they used to deal in arms, narcotics, and now their entire business is porn, strip clubs and trafficking bc they can't outdo or outsmart their competitors who have the more respectable crimes on lock 😄

God, this reminds me of my family dynamics in a Sicilian/Irish family. Tons of "people chess" as I've called it, but you know what? I learned so many things about how to read a person, how to carry myself, and how to truly negotiate in a way that means everybody wins as best as possible.

damn ive been doing this at work where "banter" is the norm, not really a banter type but at the same time I just laughed it off "yeah yeah im an idiot silly me", but underneath im confident and know my ability. Its fine let them think they're the best but dont look like you cant take a bit of stick as you will be isolated and fall out.

I believe we love him because he tells his life his sins and he paid for them and he discovered the Father and Savior and look at the lives he is saving just telling truth. I love Cosa Nostra but let me explain. There was something that had I had a dad in Cosa Nostra then no one would have hurt me but still like he said he misses some of the life not the crime but seeing the family! I understand that and people like power. But before the earth was formed Yahweh knew Michael would be Cosa Nostra and would pay the price then kneel to our Father and Savior and that is what makes me happy to hear him. My papa was my breath and I had him and my grand ma ma almost 43 years and I took care of them financially for a long time. If they were alive they would be devastated all that I have gone through not my fault which makes me angry when I do not get a break. So I have to whine them pause and ask Yahweh and Yeshua please forgive my temper tantrum’s but come on. Scripture says! He is a wise man lol but he is and I love hearing him speak and he probably did not see it but one video where we post I said PLEASE PRAY FOR ME I REALLY NEED IT. So all of us are not here by mistake I believe this is a place to pray for others and read posts of other people with a great testimony remember test is before testimony but I am ready for mine I am 65 and tired and it’s me and my now sick dog. We see my vet tomorrow and he is good to me he takes 90 percent off the bill because I used to date his good friend that died on us. I am supposed to be stronger in my faith and not doubt and not be angry with Yahweh but I looked up was anyone angry with Yahweh and there was a man in scripture and I think Yahweh knows we are his children and we get tired. I still am sinning being a whiner on here but I am truth being honest is free and no bondage so I am not going to just say blessings I had a long time ago like 4 years ago Yahweh saw fit to save my right eye to not be black blind. I can see pretty good I just can not read in my right eye but I am thankful for my left eye but I am tired. I need a break. I heard something that I really like I love quotes and it goes something like this: I AM LOVING AND KIND SO DO NOT TAKE MY KINDNESS FOR WEAKNESS BECAUSE THE BEAST IN ME IS NOT DEAD BUT SLEEPING. I like that because I am a giver and I have helped the helpless so much but I am tired of no relief.

Yap, the ability to delegate is very critical to run a business successfully. I was always cruising at work, because I delegated the tasks to my work team, and even to my boss! I didn't mind working for a company.

I grew up in a bad neighborhood and was one of the only Chinese in a all latin and black neighborhood. But what I learned from those days have help me deal and navigate life and have the natural skills to protect, deal with ppl. of all levels. So it’s true that your negative can be your blessing in disguise. It’s like having a PhD in life bc I’m one of the few that turn my back on my past and most of my friends didn’t get out and fell in the traps. But I’ve met ppl. from all walks of life bc my early learnings was to adapt. So I’ve met ppl. that went to Harvard and other big name colleges that couldn’t figure out problems that to me was a easy fix. So now I realized that I passed the test of the streets and was smart and lucky enough to get out before it was too late. Bottom line, you learn great life skills that many never know bc they didn’t go to the college of the streets. Yes, theres great value from those experiences and you see things most miss before it happens. Not always true, but getting that street education and being naturally smart helps.

There is so much irony of the title to this video. I didn't watch the video but, most people in society can agree that a Mafia boss telling giving you guidance to success is almost like a oxymoron.

Even if someone doesn't teach you or inform you to be polite to others, such initiatives should be instinctive. As it reveals a level if decency as well as reveals that a form of respect is there for everyone around you. What's even more profound in such behavior is actually meaning what you say. As certain people can sense and feel sincerity......and that goes a long way. As for needing to be smarter than others/another........ that really isn't a goal when you understand and know why most will aim to be this and that, while 1 up others. As often times they're so busy doing things as such that their focus on being able to see and know what's really important misses it. Only to feel defeated by the very thing/s that were blatantly obvious.

For our whole marriage I let my narcissistic husband believe he is smarter than me. He would throw it in my face, constantly trying to put me down and convince me that he is smarter and better than me. After the first years I understood that he actually isn’t and was acting that way out of insecurity. I prepared mentally to get out that abusive relationship for 4 years! When one day I said it’s over, he thought I was kidding. He didn’t see it coming. Until this day 1 year later he is still shocked and says it totally took him by surprise. Well that’s what happens when you believe you are smarter than anyone else. You are the one that will look dumb in the end!

I have great admiration for this man " his flaws became his strength" don't look at his past look and listen to what he has to offer the world. Even in his wise guy days he had a lot good quality in Mike's case " there's a moral to the story and for that " well done Mike.. Bravo
