In India there are hardly any hedge funds due to regulations.

Hedge fund, VC and Quantitative Finance has negligible presence in India. Quant roles for GS, MS or JPMC are mostly from IITB,D,M or KGP. And for Hedge fund and VC roles it's only Harvard, Stanford, Wharton or Stern.

Di one important question to asked regarding cat form, i scored 78% in final year, result declared 2 days back and now i want to apply for revaluation as i feel it could take my percentage to 80+. Now the question arises, what should I fill during form filling? If i fill the present one, there there will be no use of revaluation and If i do not fill grads marks, then will that be alright? I need your view regarding this. Not to mention, the revised result will most probably come after mid sept, last date for cat is before that.

You should fill in the marks that you have available, not filling them would not be the right thing to do. I understand that the difference may affect some calls, but you'll have to do well in CAT to compensate that. You can also try reaching out to the official helpline in case there's a better solution.

For now you don't listen to these things Just focus on your preparation Selection criteria for every b school varies and there are many b school which doesn't require profile too But one thing which they all want is a good cat percentile So ignore everything and prepare nicely You will have enough time to figure out this later

First of all you need to calm your nerves down See as a student it is very common to feel such so don't worry everyone is one the same page Next up about your syllabus completion thing See rather than studying everything and complete your whole syllabus you can focus on things which are of maximum weightage and uttne ko hi pdho and keep revising them agr uttne confidently ho gye aur tym bccha then we will try to move further and learn extra

Hey! Thank you for such an informational video! I have a small point to make, though you mention HR in you thumbnail..there was literally no discussion about it after you mention how less the offers are. So it kinda didn't help someone like me who wants to specialise in HR and was looking forward to know what the earning potential in this field is. There are institutions that give specialised hr courses like xlri...I am sure they would have placements for this field unlike iima.
