My favourite streamer, cheers for making consistently good content. Recently got gf into the game! She's hardstuck at 2bc! After 460 runs I beat the spoiler boss too. Nohit! Got a legendary repeater crossbow at fractured shrines, got poison cloud on hit and 80% to poison. That shreaded the hotk and spoiler boss, legendary wave of denial shreaded hotk reflecting bombs, won without a phase change. He Lost 70% hp and died lol.

Open wounds with spider fang in backpack can lead to some real damage boosts for the hard light weapons.

Something is definitely messing with the RNG in the latest update. Most of my elites are doing the ascending laser to me too, challenge rifts are appearing everywhere and I get lots of same items and affixes.

I would love to know how the game chooses Elite attacks. There is no way its truly random with all these ascending lasers lol

i really like the sword animation but i hate not carrying a shield for parries. i could hope for cocoon but thats not always guaranteed

It's looking like B tier to me. I personally love HyperLightDrifter game but the weapon's base damage looks a bit low from your video. I think with weapons like this, even if the gameplay takes skill it will make you feel great.

I recently got back into Dead Cells and started a new save cause you know, why not? I noticed that you can just get these new items reeeaaaally early on which is kind of a godsent for newer people since some of these weapons are actually really nice. You don't even need to unlock the blueprints, I just got the pure nail first run which is really dope. Pro tip tho: don't try to flex too hard with that pogo when when you open a curse chest in prom 😳

Happy I saw phaser. Phaser with hyper light has been super successful for me. Gun>phaser>sword. This lets you do extra damage with the crits and extra phaser damage with the sword and get the ammo back. Pretty simple but works well

i think this weapon needs 3 things to be okay: a bit more base damage in the sword and gun, the shots should be fired faster and the sword hits souldn't move you forward. for now this weapon is C tier for me, e.g., workable.

The best synergy I've found with this weapon is fire blast in the backpack, spreads oil on the gun, and bonus to burning oil on the sword.
