hi there! i barely ever comment on youtube videos and, well, quite frankly i dont know how to word this comment so it may sound incredibly awkward and stupid, but im a sixteen year old girl with depression. and i've also been in love with art and intricate things like these since i could remember. and, well, this video made me so immesurably happy. its the first video of this type that i'm watching and i am excited to now be immersing myself in SO many more since i've discovered this one. i haven't smiled like this or gawked at something amazing and felt genuine joy in such a long time, which is why i wanted to tell you that your content genuinely made me so incredibly happy. i dont know who or how many people this comment will reach, but if you made it this far, then remember that whoever you are reading this, you are loved, you are important and if the universe didn't need you, you wouldn't have made it this far and been here :)

I'm using these videos as examples for video game design. these videos are a good tool for that because it's not real life. the fact this was made by a person means it's already a distilled version of reality, where each thing that exists here was consciously chosen for its visceral impact. this helps make these a more manageable thing to study. as we can see in this video, a creek like this really has about 10 different unique elements that when blended together, gives people the impression of a creek. you can then be sure to add those elements in a video game, and the effect will be awesome. definitely going to watch others by this youtuber.

Thanks very much for this; your methods and techniques are well explained and; I hope; easy to emulate. I've been a model maker for some 50 years or so, but really haven't done much at all in the way of diorama/display, but am hoping to, so this is a BIG help for me! Unfortunately my budget (or lack there of) means I'm going to have to come up with homemade alternatives to some of your chosen methods/products, but for me, that's all part of the process. I also VERY much appreciate the unintrusive music you chose to accompany it!
