-------------------------------------Key Takeaways---------------------------------
Dr. Keith Berndtson: Now there’s a great need to do it. People often want to know how I got into this. And back in 2007 when I opened this practice, a patient walked in with this book called “Mold Warriors” by some guy named Ritchie Shoemaker. And you know, I finally got around opening it and reading a little bit, and began to feel like I was drinking from a fire hose because there’s so much information in it-a lot of path of physiology, but also getting into the patients’ stories and legal ramifications; and implications for agricultural practice, construction practice; remediation, inspection, and cleaning; and all that kind of stuff. So I wondered what I got myself into, but I’ve then subscribed to the newsletter from Surviving Mold, his website, which now gets about 3 million hits a month, and built up my confidence to start taking these patients on. Even at that point, I was kind of at the lower end of the learning curve. But what’s important to understand here is that this is not just about mold toxicity. Back in 1973, when there was a OPEC Embargo and there were long gasoline station lines and so forth, there was a premium on conserving energy, and so builders decided they would step up and they would start building homes that were pretty tightly sealed that you could trap heat and save money during the winter and all that.
Mike Mutzel: Sure.
Dr. Keith Berndtson: But creating conditions were moisture had nowhere to go. The buildings weren’t breathing the way they used to, and so we started to have more of what’s called “sick buildings syndrome,” which in the beginning wasn’t very well understood and kind of got laughed at the room and a lot of grand rounds and that sort of thing. But now we know much more that under certain recurrent moisture conditions or after water intrusion events¬-roofs leak, leaks under sinks, flooding of course, flooded basements-that molds can get a leg up. And all molds need to grow is moisture and cellulose; dust contains cellulose, so they pretty much have growing conditions almost anywhere where there’s been enough moisture. So it’s very important to discover these intrusions and remediate them quickly because within 48 hours, you’ve got mold growing. And not all molds are toxin producers, either; but the ones that are have genes that code for toxins that they use to defend themselves when they pick up stress signals, and that could be running into manmade chemicals in the dry wall or whatever. They make spores that carry toxins. When things dry up, the spores go dormant; but when the moisture returns, they become active, they could be spitting out toxins. And heavily water-damaged buildings, it’s not just mold toxins, there are other inflammogens-microbial, volatile organic compounds, manmade volatile organic compounds-they all enter the mix; there are fungal fragments, bacterial fragments. So anybody can get pretty sick in a building like that. But in what’s commonly referred to as “mold toxicity syndrome,” about one in four people carry these HLA genes; HLA means it’s on chromosome 6, and it has to do with the part of the immune system that presents antigens from one cell to another, processes those antigens first, and begins this process where you can acquire a coordinated cellular and antibody response against something like this should you come across it again.

Indeed, few doctors are as smart as this one. HOWEVER, you can search for similar people by looking up doctors that practice "integretive medicine" or "functional medicine". They tend to be the best MDs. You can also look for people that contribute to The Townsend Letter. A newsletter made by another very smart doctor, Dr. Jonathan Collin, MD. Smart people often work in clusters. Doctors taught in Germany tend to be way ahead of others, too, in effective, yet often gentle treatments. And interestingly, doctors who've trained in Cuba. Strangely, Cuba trains some of the top doctors in the world. (and much has been written about this, so you can look it up if you wish)

This video is precise. I suffer from mold toxicity from sick building syndrome from my 17yr State job. I saw 18 specialist before stumbling across a environmental specialist. These doctors are few and far who kbow how to diagnose and treat this issue. I had over 30 symptoms and now have been diagnosed with NASH. A year later I am down to a handful of symptoms. Even though your insurance may not cover full treatment, I highly recommend this route. I had doctors laugh at me when I had tears in my eyes talking about Dr Shoemakers book Mold Warriors. I am a living testimony you can get better. It didn't happen over night and recovery will take time, discipline and determination.

This is so depressing. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you made this video, but the problem is so enormous when you know this information. It boils down to classism, the poor are forced to live at a lower standard and mold is a part of that standard.

It's not just the poor. There is a problem with new cars too. Just Google the kind of car you drive and mold and see what happens. Something is seriously wrong.
@improver1849

FlezzDurjis I've felt the same way, but when I've dug more into it, evidence points to the contrary. Ed McMahon and his dog died of this. Brittany Murphy and, several months later, her husband, died of toxic mold exposure. Famous, very rich people. At this time, nowhere seems to be safe. Everyone really needs to get onboard and become aware to get rid of this problem. After all, houses are built and maintained by ordinary, everyday people. It's by educating and supporting them that they can properly service the people they serve. And, of course, it'll help them, too.

I have had nearly all of the symptoms of mold toxicity for years. My life has been so null and void. Not wanting to go anywhere or do anything- I am just so tired and fatigued. I feel sick all the time. Have been treated by numerous things by countless doctors. NONE have checked for mold toxicity. And to top it off I have been seeing funny looking things growing or forming in spots-mostly on the ceilings in my home which I guess is black mold. I own the place and have no insurance. this whole thing is so stressful..

@paul2019monte
@paul2019monte 2 жыл бұрын
@@keilana6 Yes. Since this issue is often the "secret" cause of so much disability and problems maintaining work, etc it would seem logical that it would be covered by Medicare. People that are determined disabled and can't work receive Medicare benefits. If those benefits allowed mold testing and treatment it's very possible that some of these people would then be able to return to the workforce. And believe me, I spent years undiagnosed. I worked through incredible pain and confusion. I was a hardworker and very talented. And yes, even after drawing the conclusion myself regarding places I had lived I would move only to find that the new place had hidden mold issues. I also have ME/CFS which seems to be somehow correlated/made worse. Deferred maintenance on apartments is rampant particularly during economic downturns. Then the rents skyrocket and those same buildings do cosmetic nonsense and ignore doing proper repairs. And the people living there have no clue why they are so sick and miserable. I think this is behind many domestic violence issues. And psychological presentations.

Thank You so much. Dr's have told me it's not environmental, that it's just anxiety or a panic attack. Well, diabetes and anxiety don't make you cough up blood and your blood pressure go from normal to 255. I have gone to the ER 9 times. I have fallen 10 times. Once, down a flight of stairs. The doctors want to treat one symptom at at time and I have a huge cluster of symptoms.

I've been through a similar experience and found no relief from the modern medical system, in fact most of the time they end up hurting me and causing more damage. I hope you find a system that works for you, I've found a organic paleo style diet helps a lot, avoiding grains except quinoa is huge and avoiding any dairy that's isn't raw. When my diet slips or I get exposed to lots of mold or stress I fall into almost a state of being bed ridden until my body can deal with the negative load. Also you have to get outside and do things you find positive, even if you don't feel like doing it force yourself to do something positive a few times a week for about a half hour. I really hope you find healing, this is a nightmare I wouldn't wish anyone experience.

+Rockabilly Chola keep up the clean diet From my experience it only helps. I've experienced similar symptoms, I feel strange walking around sometimes still, like I can't really control exactly where or how I move. Luckily this isn't all the time, but things got to the point where my vision was getting very disrupted and disturbed and I couldn't drive for a few weeks at a time. I had to get away from the mold and I moved to Colorado after being in a water damaged home with a active visible mold colony for 6 years and tons of my symptoms disappeared, but I didn't get better I just had some things stop and gained back some energy. I'm hoping to see a specialist soon who can hopefully clear my body of the toxins and get me back into the world completely, I'm so sick of not having a proper life and feeling like death all the time. Have you been able to leave the place you think has the mold you got sick from?

You need to be tested for TB. That was one of the first things my doctor check me for was TB if you go anywhere in your body and even though mine turned out okay I use my friends pmf machine tonight and it kept coming up with TB pee sometimes you test aren't sensitive enough. I'm sure you know to stay away from The Usual Suspects all grains gluten dairy if you still had pain you might have to wait not have oxalates or might not be able to have lectins. Maybe some almond milk for extra magnesium to help with some pain. Epstein-Barr is another one that does weird stuff a lot of people don't have until they realize it I had it for years chronically and just found out and then my neurologist told me he knew the whole entire time I hate him. He never even told me that until after I told him I tested for it it's because he wanted to make that $2,000 every 3 months for the Botox shots in my head that jerk !!!!

So interesting. I e had basically every ugly symptom there is associated with mold. I've been struck down twice. One from my home which had a leaky roof and it was eventually blown off by hurricane Irma and the mold grew by the day I stayed in my home for six months until habitat for humanity came in and remediated and restored my home. Then recently been feeling shitty for several months come to find out I discovered massive mold growth under pallets in my workspace. It was rampant and thick I eventually ended up with pneumonia and then terminated after reporting the issue and other violations. I had pneumonia for several weeks B4 I got diagnosed. Mold illness is an awful thing. It's a month since I've been terminated between recovering from pneumonia and being out of the toxic environment I'm feeling better. Mold is the devil in disguise.

Yeah my VA DERMATOLOGIST said I need to see mental health because he thinks I am self mutilating…… I went to him with a rash that won't heal and I even told him I have black mold that I just found in my AC evaporator coils. I have low vit D, high B12, high WBC, low MPV, low lymphocytes count, high glucose, high Anion Gap..... ok that was blood! Now urine……… trace leukocyte estterase, trace squamous epithelial cell, rare urine bacteria, trace urine mucus. I also have migraines, fatigue,…………… well I will say 85% of his mentioned symptoms. So all I get it recommends mental health. The mental health thing is because I was (am) grieving the loss over my mother last summer. I went through the"normal" grieving cycle and now I am in a ok place! They won't listen and I asked them for a mycotoxins panel but the VA does not do that test in their lab I WAS TOLD! I told him that dealing with some DOCTORS IS WHAT MAY GET ME TO NEED SOME MENTAL HEALTH

I have every single symtom that mold gives you. I'm starting to get really sensitive to any sprays or chemicals whatnot if a blanket is washed and dried I can taste the soap that it was washed in my mouth like someone poured it into my mouth when I lay in my bed or if I walk into a room I can taste people's perfume or cologne in my mouth when I shower I can taste the shampoo or soap I use even after I wash everything off really good. The worst things are this new symptoms getting really dizzy and I'm getting dehydrated but keep drinking. Losing weight. headaches and inflammation are the worst. Pain on the left side of my head my left leg hurts so bad and gets swollen and heavy, my eyes hurt all the time, left ear ringing so loud now my right one is too I have a lesion in my throat and I have a hole in my right ear drum swollen lymph nodes on both sides of my neck now it use to only be on my right neck now both sides. I am crying every single day so depressed I have chest pain and I get hot and cold spells. I don't know what to do. No one else in our house is sick like me(mom,sister) but the basement floods and it's winter and it's getting worse now in winter my symptoms I don't know what to do I can't work I have no money and were on HUD. any advice? I don't know how to move out=( my shepherd is kind of sick too but thankfully not as bad. I think I have Lyme disease too and moving into this house has kicked it into active gear! It is horrible I feel like I'm gonna die here! =( doctors won't do anything =( can regular doctors test me for the markers he mentions ? What kind of test would I ask for? HLA genetics beta something? How do I keep myself from dying from this?

This is dire. I fit the picture of mold toxicity so bad. Am 24 years old and have chronic infammatory symptoms all over my body. I can not function I can not work, I'm fucking useless and desperate. I have done so many things to detoxify my body over the past years and nothing has worked. 24 liver flushes, daily coffee enemas for a year, now doing a parasite cleanse, kidney cleansing, clean diet. What he was saying about having these genes that make it hard for you to clear biotoxins is what caught my attention the most. Because it's astounding how much toxicity I seem to generate within 24 hours, so much that it can not even be cleared by doing daily coffee enemas. There is MUCH more toxicity than the CE clears in fact. Based on my symptoms. This is all very nicely explained and all but the practical part remains a big issue. I live in europe, all the medical doctors are worthless and have categorized me in the mental health issue department because they can not detect anything worrysome. Even though I am sick as hell with chronic symptoms. I have done exstensive conventional bloodtests, allergy testing ( and have a mold allergy by the way but apparently the fool specialist didn't feel like elaborating on that). So WHERE in the world do I find a doctor that can help me with this? I don't have thousands of dollars to spend on onine testing and Dr Shoemakers protocols. Man he might be helping a lot of people but I checked out his website and he charges money for EVERYTHING. How are people that are living overseas and too sick to work able to pay for all this when it's not covered by insurance? And that's just the beginning of it. I'm not even talking about moving house,etc. Wow this is a fucking mess. I have done so much research in such a short time, total information overload and now all the hassle that comes with planning out how to get to the bottom of this mold toxicity issue...

Dr.. Berndston is my doctor. If you have insurance, the meds should be covered if you have mold toxicity like me. I don't know what my meds would be without, but it isn't like there is strictly one med I had to take... Also the natural med I was on in an in-between stage for a while was affordable (I am disabled). I lost most of my inflammation finally getting rid of my Lyme and Bartonella (a harder task for me) and hopefully the last 10-15lbs will go when I finish up mold treatment soon! With the first three months my mold toxicity decreased by 50%. I had not lived with the mold in many years, though, which made it easier. If you can't see Dr. Berndston in-person there are natural things that are strong you can buy even on amazon (that's what I did). But it depends on if that is your real problem, the severity, etc. This doctor is near Chicago.

Bridgett Mahoney Natural things to bind mycotoxins? Like Charcoal? Oh I'm sure the protocol meds would be no issue IF any of these CRIMINAL medical doctors would even consider testing me for mold and reckognizing it as a problem in the first place. You NEED a mold doctor or they probably won't even see it as an issue even if the tests come back positive. I have no idea if mold is really my issue though but I am certain that if I have ever been exposed to mold biotoxins (which is very likely) that it is definitely causing post inflammatory symptoms because I already have a confirmed mold allergy. I hope you will feel better soon!

What happens if it's a brand new building and ready for new people to moving and it burns from the 6 floor down to the fourth floor fire departments call in to put the fire out.but instead of you tearing the building down from the ground floor and rebuild it back up to the sixth floor you don't you just tell down the burnt pot and build it back up. now don't forget all that water to use to put the fire out you didn't care the building down to the ground floor you just rebuild it from the fourth floor up where is all the water going and you already know there's no going to be in the building. You suspect you have mold in your new apartment you get a I smell not only that you hear water dripping in the walls when you're washing dishes you are a specially when you run the water to rinse your dishes. You have central air and heat and when the A/C is on it's it's dripping water you let the rent office know about it and they do nothing about it then what's next.

Where I live at I started to smell like a gas and my family said I was crazy but because I spent more time in my home and have good smell I can distinguish smells easily I know my home smells different it still does.The thing is I got sick and not just me my sister got the same symptoms and the doctors said it was just "anxiety" and now I have to deal with it.Not only that there was a time I smelled it all over the city.They link everything to either anxiety or depression now a days.Its a bad smell like something more than rotten like gas and it gets in your mouth and everything you eat tastes like that too and the only thing that gets rid of it is pinesol thats the only thing that makes it better for me to breathe.My fam is always out so they don't hav to deal with the smell.I'm not saying it can be mold but its an intense smell like it drowns you and makes it hard to breathe.I don't know if it can also be the fumigation because they also fumigate around the building and plants like lately i smell it everywhere and then they say its orderless it isn't orderless I can smell it still.I hate when they fumigate.

the room i've ended up in has ERMI of 17.4 and hertsmi 2 of 18, I'm guessing this is the best room in the house because I became hypersensitive to the upstairs bedrooms over a short time frame, and I can sense mold in the kitchen and upstairs bathroom, the garage has made me feel ill since 2016 and my summer house ( wooden shack thing ) since 2018. Going to live in a tent in the garden if I can manage it, good luck trying to get any help for this problem from the NHS in the UK or other branches of the government. This was a pretty good description of CIRS by the book but you could have talked more about general symptoms people experience that are indicative of exposure to high levels of mold that can potentially lead to CIRS.

I took pictures to my doctor of the hairy mold coming out of the wall after my Persian cat died, along w/ my symptoms and he gave a script to my Mngr saying, I am treating Barbara for mold., now, if enough Harvard doctors , any doctor would do this, we might solve this problem. They moved me; I'm a vegan and that w/ God first, are healing me. I get pinched w/ a spore now & then, & washed my clothing in white distilled vinegar along w/ hard furnishings, getting rid of soft furnishings, going citric in the morning, probiotics at night cause acid eats good bacteria even probiotics so I use Braggs vinegar, 1 t, w/ lemon 1/2 & I small piece of grated ginger root.in good spring, from our spring, water. I worked as a paralegal, endorsed by my state for senate 2010, and couldn't read a document, then after moved, I went through 500 documents, sorting them. Keeps trying to get me but I start again if that happens. And no sugar, st crave, mold cravings & Candida or thrush from antibiotics.

+Holly Jaye get someone to come in and do an air test of your apartment. write a letter to you landlord for a three day time limit to repair. if he doesn't and you have results that there is mold (and i'm sure there is) find yourself a personal injury lawyer. if you can get a blood test to show you have mycotoxins in your blood that is helpful too. don't stay in there holly. you will get so sick and it can cause brain damage and you will never be the same. i was exposed for 7 years. i have lung damage and i know i have brain damage and i'm exhausted all the time and i was an athlete when i moved into that place. search all you can online. get the book "the war within" , you can get it on amazon. it's got a lot of good information. but get the hell out of there! regular mds know nothing about mold and they will just try to put you on a steroid and antifungal. and that is the worst thing to do. good luck to you. please, please get out though. the longer you stay, the worse you will get and the more damage will be done. it can kill you! it killed 2 of my cats and almost killed me.

if you really didn't care you wouldn't still be commenting. mold isn't just seen. if you have mold you are breathing it !! and you can't "clean" mold. mold has to be removed. if it's in the walls, the walls need to be removed and replaced. my landlord was a slumlord too. if you have a district health where you live, contact them, if you don't contact housing, especially if you are on section 8. looking for a dr that is knowledgeable is hard. search online in your area, make calls. it's hard work. i'm still sick and i've been out of my previous apartment for 2 years, i have done all the detox stuff. i'm still sick. this stuff can eat your brain, change your dna and cause cancers. if you don't care then make sure that when you die, you leave instruction for the autopsy to look for mold and then have your family ot whoever you specify to sue your landlord. you can't be mold infested unless you are exposed to it. work or home. or go to the media. they love stories like this and maybe then your lazy ass landlord will do something. they can NOT kick you out because they have not addressed things that they are responsible and are making you sick.

The rental management company said they'll spray the mold and replace the sheetrock but that won't correct the problem. The owner said they're going to have the rental company will have to do a full remediation and they'll pay for it but I think it's a way to move me and my boyfriend out, they replace the sheetrock and move someone what in. I hope not because I don't wish this on anyone else plus I have nowhere else to go. It's a horrible situation.

Bright guy but please explain this so that people who are dealing with brain inflammation can understand this. Just the most simple way. I've been sick ever since moving back into my home that my tenant destroyed by nailing in nails into my roof. Mold was all over the ceiling and my dad sprayed it with bleach and insisted that the mold wasn't behind the ceiling. Evicting that tenant and her destroying my home, was the stressor that set the sickness off. I used to have a great life and ran 10 miles each day. Now, when I go to my house, I'll feel good the first day or two but then my throat either closes up or if I eat food, it stays stuck in my throat and I get so weak and poisoned feeling that I can barely move. My dad, who made me rent to the Tenant, insists that it's not from mold and says that every place has mold in that this is a big scam. He's trying to talk my into going to Mayo Clinic but they don't usually deal with or know anything about treating mold. I definitely believe mold makes people sick. I'm now trying to get better by myself but when your brain isn't working right, it's really hard to understand well enough to get yourself better. My memory is scaring me. Could you do a video that's super simple so that people who are not doing well can understand?

My only thing that I don’t seem to understand is why when I go out, I don’t feel better. If it was in my house, I went to New York, I was gone for about 35 hours. I felt terrible most of the time. I did blood tests for mold, 11/14 I was flagged as high. So I know I have some sort of mold issue-I just hope that’s ALL that’s causing this. I’ve spend thousands to track this down and now hundreds more doing a anti fungal protocol. It’s been 2 weeks now and I still feel terrible...ugh. I hope it just takes more time.

what doctor do I see that is covered by insurance for the tests done to see this exposure? I'm seeing a naturopathic doctor but he doesn't accept my insurance so these tests could be VERY expensive... Also there is Great Plains MycoTOX Profile (mold exposure) test. But I'm not seeing the markers that are discussed on there so I'm at a lost of what to do buy that mycotox profile from them or the specific ones from this video and also is there any one test for all these or are they all seperate? Or more importantly how do we convince the insurance companies to get these done ? is that even possible? or is this all going to have to be out of pocket for the gene testing etc?

PLEASE HELP ! I NEED HELP ! i have a serious problem. please can someone help me or tell me what to do ?? i was living in a flat. i think there was something on the carpet. some mites or some sort of plague or something. i dont know exactly what it was. i often had a lot of my belongings laid on the carpet, like newspapers, books, some clothes, mobile phones etc. the carpet was almost half covered by these things. i then went away for one year and left someone to look after the flat, but he moved out after 1 month. so the flat was empty for almost a year. when i returned back there were cobwebs every where, and carpet had lots of dirt and dust on it, some biscuit crumbs and some foodstuff etc. as i walked around the room my body started itching. maybe carpet mites ? i dont know. i looked around to see if there was any mould anywhere, but there wasnt. after a few days i started getting bubbles on my skin, brown bubbles. and to my shock and horror i started getting bubbles in my eyes !! they grew big inside the eye and i could have easily busted them and possibly ruined my eyes, but luckily i didnt. i moved out of the flat soon after and put all my belongings into storage which i had to pay for. i rented just 1 room temporarily for a few months. everything was fine. i then got my own flat. first two weeks i was there without my belongings. everything was fine. i then started getting my belongings out from storage and into my new flat. to my shock and horror everytime i touched any of my belongings i felt itchy and wanting to scratch my skin. the itchiness was not normal. it was sharp 'stings' that were very very painful and as if trying to go right through my skin. the more belongings i got out from storage and into my flat the worst it got. the whole flat then started looking 'brown' and goey as if there was dust everywhere, and whatever was in the air that transferred from my belongings, hurt my skin immensely. the walls started looking very dusty and brown. everytime i breathed, i felt stingy stuff going inside me. i started getting the brown bubbles on my skin again, and some parts of my skin started to peel off and bleed !!! its like living in hell. i dont know what to do. i went to my doctor but she said it could just be carpet mites. the doctor says to keep things clean. but whatever it is, they have literally gone everywhere. they are on all my important papers as well. i mean how am i going to get rid of them from my paperwork, such as my school and university certificates, important documents. i tried to clean my documents using paper towels but all this does is smudge the bacteria or mite or whatever it is, and makes my documents look dirty and brown. it doesnt get rid of whatever it is. once i have cleaned my documents if i touch them, i still get the stings and scratchiness. they are obviously still on the documents and not gone away. i cant obviously wash the documents. so how do i get rid of them ?? with clothes , i can wash them and try and get rid of the problem, but with documents i cant do this. every single one of my documents, books, paperwork has been infected. please help, i dont know what to do ?????!! the problem now is everything else in my flat, i.e. the newer clean stuff is now being infeccted as well, and they are now beginning to look brown and feel itchy and stingy. whatever it is, seems to be airborne as well, and spreading everywhere. if i take my shirt of in the flat, within minutes i start scratching and my body looks and feels brown and gooey. it seems that even if i clean everything, even if there is a small bit of it left somewhere , it spreads very fast to everything else. and within a few minutes everything becomes infected again. this thing seems to spread and multiply quickly. it is A VERY DANGEROUS THING, AND I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS AND HOW TO DEAL WITH IT. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP AND SAVE MY LIFE AS I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ???? i have tried using sprays, but they havent helped. as some of the stuff still stays and then spreads quickly again. Iam beginning to wonder if it is some sort of plague ? THANK YOU.

@@valeriem4022 what is windex and where would i get that from ? is that a spray ? i dont think it is bed bugs. it is an organism that sticks to dust and sand particles. iam now thinking it is a combination of killer dist mites, and some type of bacteria from plague ? that causes my skin to peel off. i cant get rid of the tiny sand particles that are everywhere now within my flat and belongings. they stick to the sand. i know its sand because i washed my phone case that was causing me the skin irritation, i put it in the sink. after several washes, i let it dry. and i can clearly see the sand particles gathered around the edges. i touched it and my skin started to scratch and hurt again. in what way will rubbing alcohol spray help to get rid of this ? and surely it cant destroy the sand particles, i have tried air purifiers but they could not get rid of these particles, since air purifiers only clear the air and not suck particles from tangible things. iam still struggling with this huge problem.

Mngment has cleaned it, mold in my toilet, put a substance in the tank. My mattress is aerospace type with a zip around cover, thank God. Bleach & distilled vinegar. Mngment is going to test further. I purchased an air mattress, aero bed on QVC that is micro bacterial anti mold now in my living room. I'm very weak. Tonight will get to sleep. It's been weeks since it killed my Persian. I called state health & CDC who said everyone has it. My joints, mold sores on my arms, lips swollen, couldn't breathe. They will professionally clean the carpet. I hired a housekeeper to help me. Just because they say everyone has it doesn't mean that it affects everyone the same. And I personally believe that after numerous exposures including my childhood home that I had literally built up a huge mold presence in my body. I have been detoxing for a long time. But I know I am still more reactive. It did help me to get a stand-alone Honeywell air purifier and stood it next to my bed where the Clean Air goes over me. I wish I had known about that previously too. The one I got was about $200 @ Home Depot. It hurt to spend the money but now I'm glad that I did. I run it 24/7. It actually cleans my whole home. I do sometimes move it to another place if I sense a problem. Also, cut down on sugars and carbs. When I had the mold bad I craved them like crazy. Now I know it was because the mold in my body likes to eat that stuff and thrives on it.

He has diabetes also so don't know what impact this could have as well as mold or mold toxins

The ERMI score is not exactly feasible , if you are above 2 that DOES NOT MEAN YOU CANNOT GET BETTER. The HERTSMI2 gives a much better picture of the top 5 mycotoxins producing molds that ignite CIRS. Most places will not pass an ERMI Test, typically CIRS is ignited in a 16+ environment on HERTSMI2.

Just had flooding in the carpet for 3 days without knowledge. When I opened up the closet I got sick! White stuff formed on my throat and inflammation and tonsil stones. No strep and no thrush. Dismissed. Mold air test came up negative.

This is why jews call gentiles unclean. We are. And we dont even know it. Im in a lull right now after spring cleaning and moving things around and not laundering stuff properly. I feel like a lost a few pounds and Im shedding yeast. Im terrified of showering in a mildewy bathroom with a spore laden towel. Its stressful af because Im the 1 of the 4 in the house with skin symptoms and sensitivity. Being told your crazy aint fun and just makes everything worse.

Hello +Casey Cantor, I would strive to eat more vegetables. Fruits are healthy, yes, but vegetables will be better for you. Lower glycemic and higher in phytonutrients.
