I've watched tons of Texas HS football and this is easily in the top 3 of any I've seen. This game had it all. The 4th and 15 throw by John Stephen Jones at the end was the most clutch throw I've ever seen a HS QB make. Shame Manvel had to lose at the goal line at the end but that's just part of what made this game great.

Xavier, I made the mistake of saying black and white. I meant to say NAVY BLUE and WHITE. I glanced at the screen and it looked like Manvel was black and white school colors. I game to this highlight reel to see what my friend was talking about (maybe the best team he'd seen in high school). I am not making any kind of judgement about the refs nor am I discrediting the Highland Park players. So stop cussing at people on KZbin and just enjoy the victory.

@@isislaz I'm beginning to get the impression specific teams are ordained to advance higher than the regional quarterfinals. I believe Cedar Park was to be the State Champs in 2014. As good as they were, they needed help from the refs just to hang with Ennis. In fact, CP went for it on a 4th down. Ennis held, the refs measured, it was clearly a couple of inches short and the ref signaled a 1st down for CP. The very next play CP scored a TD. Pure BS. And not only that, you will see the refs slapping hands with HP players and all in their huddles having convos with the coaches and players and NOT talking to the opposing team coaches as if they're discussing what to call and when.

IF John Steven is successful at Arkansas and is good enough to be drafted should he be forced to enter the draft and play for a team other than the cowboys if another team selects him or should there be a rule change because of him? He has a controlling interest in the Dallas Cowboys and I couldn't see it where he would HAVE to intentionally cause harm to his interests. The rule change should be that if you have a controlling interests in a current team you have the option to only play for that team, but the player could decide on his own to make himself available to other teams.
