i don't want to sound like a crybabby but,,,, watching this really hurts. explanation: i was a very active rider in the 80's/90's, a mid to front pack 'b' rider in the RMEC. i gave it all up and moved to Belize in '98. my last bike was a 95 KTM 300 exc i sold it and me and my wife brought with us to XR400's, thinking about parts availability in central america. the xr's rusted out after a few years and now all i have are videos like yours! watching all the improvements, fuel injection, lectrons, ect,, i just weep and reach for more beers. i will continue to watch you videos,, they are fun. but just know,,, i am crying in my beers! thanks for the entertainment!!!

In conclusion what I am hearing since the beginning of the build, is as good as the YZ is modified, the Fantic with it's motor dialed for moderate to hard endure and with the few more small mods you have mentioned are comming, will by far shine over the YZ when it comes to more technical moderate to difficult terrain (Moderate to hard core endure). I will even predict that in due time Yahama will introduce a similar bike that we will see Cody Webb riding.

I noticed the same on the fantic xx250: the sweep of the bars. I eventually got used to it but more sweep than im used to (Pro Taper RC). Got ride that fantic back to back with the new Triumph. Much preferred the fantic.

First off love the content. I had three YZ's converted for the woods and loved them. In 2019 I bought a new 250X and absolutely hated it. Out of the 30 woods bikes so far. Believe it or not my 24 300 SX is the one. Mako kit and skid plate and lets go riding. Hopefully Yamaha makes the YZ counter balanced, electric start with backup kickstarter. Oh and lower the seat height for us leprechauns. Oh and maybe next time. Do some lap time comparisons? That would be cool to see the outcome. Keep the vids going, it helps me get through winter here in Canada.

Loving this Fantic content - you have put out more content on this bike than anyone over here in Europe! Out of interest, have you ever tried a Beta RX300? I know a few people who use that as an XC style bike rather than MX, I wonder how that would stack up against the Fantic or even the RR Racing for your kind of riding and racing…

I own a 24 300RR race. The Fantic is way better in my opinion. The beta just doesn’t rev like this bike or my KTM

that fantic sounds great... good lug. also, those yamaha rear nissin brakes are super touchy. hated them in my yz250fx. for some reason, i have nissin on my rieju but not grabby.

I'm in my early 60's and ride an older KTM300 and to lighten the clutch pull I switched to 2.5wt fork oil in the clutch and an Enduro Engineering roller bearing clutch lever and it did make a noticeable difference on the clutch pull but then I got really lazy and installed a Rekluse and love how much easier it is to ride but I can still do clutch maneuvers if needed, also the Mako 360 will make a huge difference with vibrations, the Mako is a game changer when it comes to comfort and at my age I'll take what I can get.

It is for sure. That’s the FI working. I always jet bikes a little rich because I don’t like seized motors and my kids hold them wide open sometimes

Nice comparison ride with 2 great bikes. Now we want to see you compare it with the 24/25 KTM’s and Huskies. So far the Fantic really impresses. The new tech appears to be nicely integrated and totally functional. I wish them success.

Yes, they do have a 125 Enduro. It's the Fantic XE125!👍 They are doing really great in the european E1 enduro class. The 125cc N1 Dutch Enduro championship was also won on a Fantic XE125.

Yeah. I raced a 125XC for a season. Loved it. Just couldn’t afford to keep putting top ends in it. It didn’t break, just needed maintenance to stay fresh

I second what carlatamanczyk said go down valley or whatever do we have to wait for the thaw?we really appreciate your work but honestly you need to ride real hard enduro type trails off camber super technical switchbacks with horrible traction maybe some greasy 💩with A+AA class set ups too make a real evaluation.
