Highlander Remake Starring Henry Cavill: First Plot Details Revealed

Highlander, the movie where a Frenchman plays a Scot, a Scot played an Egyptian who lived in Spain and an American played an ancient warrior from the Russian Steppes and yet none of them decided to change their natural accents for their performances. I know a lot fans with their rose coloured, nostalgia glasses consider this movie an untouchable classic, but the story does have a lot of room for improvement and Chad Stahelski is the perfect director to try.

I wonder if it’s going to feel similar to the Witcher. I loved the first Highlander series and don’t like when they screw up reboots and mess up the lore.

It's being directed by Chad Stahelski so it should be more like John Wick without the guns. Picture the sword fight in John Wick 4 between Donnie Yen and Hiroyuki Sanada, but then imagine that across an entire movie.
