Highley Engine House shunt, part 3, 20/06/18

5764 is hauled down from the headshunt and then D4100 waits to run round. 2857 is next with a service train and then D4100 can use the platform road to get to the rear of 5764 to propel it into The Engine House. More to follow later...... Oh, note that I even caught the points changing as the 09 runs round!

The siding into the Engine House is getting more use than it has done for quite a while.

Yes, doesn't get used very often. Think I was also there when first locos were shunted it - but it was a few years ago, must look back at my photos.
