If I may ask a question. If a horse is a little excited before the vet or Pauley come. Can someone walk or round pen them (with no hoof issues or anything like to cause more injuries). It might make both a little easier for both of them. I know I'd appreciate it if in their shoes. Love all you do for the animals!

I would love to know what factors go into deciding which auction horses to pick! it must be difficult with so many of them in rough shape at some of these auctions.

Thank you! It depends. Generally it costs $800-$1k for a draft horse in danger. It all depends on the crowd and what particular "issues" the horse may have. :-/
