For me, it's not so much the fact he played at the highest level into his 40's, but the fact he played football of all sports that long at a brutal position in which your not only physically, but mentally taxed as well. No disrespect to the NBA or b-ballers but he did far more than run up & down a court in an attempt to put a sphere shaped ball through a hoop. Seven rings. SEVEN!! earning the last while over 40 years of age & with a new team, coaches, coordinators & in an unfamiliar place. Him being such late draft pick is just icing on the cake. Had this man never existed & someone had written/produced a Hollywood movie script based on Tom's life it'd have been ridiculed beyond belief & labeled ridiculously unrealistic. But New England fans know how important Brady was to the success of that team and he brought so many championships to the Patriots along with Bill Belichicks defensive schemes, the success that New England had won't be duplicated.
